Superposition Anomaly will happen beyond Munich, and in similar style like Kureze and Kythera Anomaly: 10 Battle Beacons interactions, NIA or Agent deployed, in 3 weekends sprawling from July to September
GORUCK Stealth, Urban, Operation Clear Field, and Operation Portal Recon LIVE are happening in Munich weekend from July 29-31.
Double L7 Resonators deploy is going away June 30.
First Saturday will allow organizers choose from onsite or online style in coming months.

2022-06-03 19:48:33 Niantic has announced a new single tier limited time event badge: Summer Solstice

From Thu, 9 Jun, 1600 UTC to Tue, 21 Jun 1600 UTC, recharge 300,000 XM, and earn the single tier “Solstice Recharge Challenge” badge, along with a in-store “Summer Solstice 2022” medal for 2500 CMU.

During the period, following will also happen:
AP for capturing a Portal increased to 2,000 up from 800
2x Power Cube output from Hacking
Kinetic energy distance for Power Cube reduced from 8km to 4km
30-min Drone cooldown
Double XM cost for Hacking, Deploying Resonators and Upgrading Resonators
19% Portal decay per day up from 15%

Niantic will be hosting a big after-party like we had in Amsterdam with separate spaces for each faction, luckydraws as well as a food area for all of us together at the venue

There will also be the opportunity to buy official merch from Niantic as well as an agent marketplace. For those of you who want to participate at the agent marketplace, there will be a form published to sign up soon

For the Anomaly itself we sadly don’t know too much so far. What will we be playing? Where in Munich will we be playing … the excitement is high...

There is a Mission Day planned for Sunday as well

2022-05-27 13:01:30 Phase 2 of the Kythera anomaly series is behind us and once again we owe a great Thank You to all the Resistance agents participating in the battles all over the world, we see you had lots of fun!

While the ENL took Phase 2, the 3rd and last Phase of Kythera is coming on the weekend of 24th - 27th June, don't miss out on the conclusion of this series!

2022-05-26 11:58:15 On the Saturday night, 272 agents from Germany and Netherlands covered large parts of their countries in operation Haircut with 38 layers of a bluetiful field, capturing 592 million MUs for the Resistance!

2022-05-23 18:58:07 Niantic has announced the first limited time event badge with multiple scoring points: Eos Imprint.

From May 26, 16:00 UTC to June 6, 16:00 UTC, earn the Eos Imprint medal by accumlating points from following:

25 points for each field of 50k+ MU created
16 points for each Portal Scan successfully uploaded
9 points for each link of 1km+ in length created
4 points for each Portal captured
1 point for each Glyph pattern correctly drawn

New metric EOS Points Earned will be added to agent profile, and the medal will come with three tiers:

Gold: 8000 points
Silver: 4000 points
Bronze: 2000 points

Winning factions of Kythera Anomaly series will have 25% bonus of Eos Points retroactively added, and possible upgrading to higher medal.

During the time period following will also be enabled:

Links shorter than 8km in length can be created under Fields (all other preconditions still apply)
9-minute Drone cooldown
