Happy Monday!

Meet Sha-Mayn, the Singaporean who created Word-leh! – the Singlish version of global craze Wordle. When word spread like wildfire and the game grew to have up to 50,000 players a day, she shared that she was 𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗘𝗛 stunned by the response.

Based in New York for over a decade, she connects with fellow Singaporeans over 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗡, especially during occasions like Lunar New Year and National Day. (Kueh shop @ladywongpastry and upcoming food hall @urbanhawker gets her really excited too )

She's now on a sailing sabbatical in the Mediterranean with husband @tobiboonstoppel and dog Twiggy on a boat named Kaya where she grows her own taugeh (bean sprouts) and carries dark soy sauce to make bak kut teh. 𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥, lah!

This eye catching beauty is a colonial landmark located at the junction of River Valley Road and Hill Street! Officially opened in 1934, it was the largest government building in Singapore at the time and used to house the Hill Street Police Station and Barracks.
