2021-12-18 21:48:44 Procrastinating having a day with You
Pushing every opportunity that gets me closer to You
Im just wandering.
I really want to but i guess i didnt need it that much
Leaning into what is not Your word; Your word that is new everyday
Your word that i would never get used to
But now
Now i have gotten in to condition of not really caring at all
A condition of losing sense for everything.
Not caring if i meditated Your word or not
Not caring if i prayed or not.
I would defend and stand up for myself saying
"This is not me.
Where did this come from?
Did You block Your mercy?"
But I cant.
I cant because that personality lives in me. Waiting for perfect opportunities to show up and say "I told you i would come back."
This has gotten me so weak. Weak as in not hoping for a better tomorrow; a better day or a better anything.
And i guess this is where You come in, right God?
Time when i lose faith in myself;
Time when i end up quarreling with everyone around me;
Time when i need someone to rescue;
Time when i am empty.

This is why i need a savior, a redeemer, a deliverer to take me out of the mess i got myself into because i cant do it all on my own.


I often found myself in a situation i swore i wouldnt get in but still that doesnt keep you from giving me Your love.

I was wondering how being God is a hard thing and an impossible thing. People have claimed to be God but they really didnt understand the weight of it.
Giving a fair judgement.
Loving without being loved first.
Being a rock for those who betrayed Him.
Waiting open wide arms to those who insult Him.
This is a God that we have.

In my admitting of being weak, You being the strong one becomes clear.
In my admitting of losing faith on myself, You being the faithful one becomes clear.

So i will never stop coming to You even if i mess up because You hold the key to everything.

The old times when I used to run to You for every good and bad;
Old times when I was eager to read Your word and spend time with You;
Old times when I always sang about Your goodness,mercy, care and love;
Old times when all didnt make sense but all was going well because of You;

Now what happened? What changed?
Why did i back slid from the promise that you have given me?
Like a person who didnt receive all, why am I acting so carelessly?

Even when i dont see it
Even when i dont have any tangible thing to believe in, being where You are and inviting You to where I am, is all it takes.

I pray that
it will be like those old times sitting at Your feet
It will be like old times running towards Your words
It will be like old times because of Your Mercy
Because of Your love!

Life can and wont never go on without You being involved in it God.

The secret is not just to continue living but to know the one who made it all possible to live and giving all to Him to live inside us.

Remember those ten virgins,who took their lamp and went forth to meet the bridegroom?

What are we doing in our waiting? Are we all set and Go when the time comes?
For fear of losing or the excitement of meeting, are we gonna take extra oil just like the wise ones did? Or are we of the foolish ones not caring that much and not seeing forth?

Even the wise ones slumbered and slept with the foolish when the bridegroom tarried, but when the time came it was no worry for the wise one's for they were prepared way too much.

If what you are expecting comes in even late, you forget about the delay and get excited for the coming, because you have been waiting.

As for the foolish one's, maybe they wanted to see the bridegroom eagerly too but that wasn't enough, it needed some extra thing which they were careless about.

We may have many questions in which we didn't get answers to and are waiting for God, but are we leaning our ears to the door to know whether to Know if He is there or not?
Are we making Him wait outside the door?
ጠይቀን ተነስተን: ግን መልሱ እስኪመጣ ያሻንን እያደረግን ይሆን?
ሲጣራ ሳንሰማ ደጅ እያስጠናነው ይሆን?

That is for each and everyone of us to answer
May God help us recognize His Voice and Open the door early.
And while we are waiting, May He guide us in what to do in the waiting!

I was thinking about how a teacher never gets tired of repeating and teaching the same thing over and over again, the year might change but what he teaches is the same
A hairstylist or a barber doing the same style standing for hours non stop
There could also be other examples but i choose to take this two for now.

Eventhough they do the same thing all over again what makes it special is that when the year changes, the students also change
The customers also change
What brings difference is the people they encounter and meet. They make it a little bit more easier to do the job despite the exhaustion one feels
.
Life is also like this, waking up and doing the same thing but what makes it interesting is the people that you meet on your way.
They have the power to make it easier or make it worse but they sure have a lesson to teach.

The thing you could treasure while you are alive are people. Be it a stranger who turns out to be your bestfriend, a family member or anyone else.

2021-10-25 22:18:00 Let the Cross that I wear and claim to believe You were Crucified for my sins and transgessions be a reminder to me not only when i rejoice but also when i am doing wrong.
And when I am doing something wrong which dishonors You, may I take a look down at what I have in my neck and be reminded that Its not Just there for a symbol but also as an act of surrendering and pleading You to be close to my heart just as the cross I wear is near to my heart.

Let me understand what the true meaning of being "Temple of the HolySpirit" is.

Just as Solomon did not pray for a long life, to be prosperous or for his enemies to diminish but for a wisdom to govern in the right way; I ask You God to give us wisdom on how to live for You and reflect You in this broken world.

I assume most of us have a necklace with a Cross around our neck, so for the next time when you are tempted to sin, take a look at the Cross that is hanging on Your neck.


As Watchman nee puts it,
" The Blood deals with what we have done, while the Cross deals with what we are.
We need the Blood for forgiveness; we need also the Cross for deliverance.

The Blood can wash away my sins, but it cannot wash away my 'old man.' It needs the Cross to Crucify me.
