Glad to share that PwC Uzbekistan is looking for interns and associates to the corporate tax consulting team.
What projects do we engage in:
• International tax structuring: tax consulting assistance to the largest multinationals with structuring their inbound investments to Uzbekistan and to the largest Uzbek groups with structuring their outbound investments;
• Buy-side and sell-side merger and acquisition (M&A) assistance to the foreign/domestic investors and the Government of Uzbekistan (GoU) with the largest M&A and privatization deals in the region;
• Assistance with implementation of the latest tax reforms to GoU;
• General corporate tax advisory services to various local and foreign companies carrying out activities in Uzbekistan.

Requirements:
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (candidates with background in commercial law or finance are preferred);
• Well spoken Uzbek, Russian and English, as well as strong writing skills;
• Good analytical skills;
• Eagerness to constant learning and self-development;
• Ability to work in team;
• At least a year of the relevant experience for those applying to an associate’s role.
No experience is required for interns; however, candidates with relevant experience will be preferred over the others.
