Dear Students!
Hope you and your close ones are all fine and health.
Hope you enjoyed your summer vacation.
Thank you very much for all of you for being active in module registration.
The modules of your choice has been double checked in order to make them consistent with course requirements.
Some of you have received or will receive notifications from SRS-bot informing you that the modules of your choices have been changed.
Why does it happen?
Please refer to the following reasons, why does it usually happen:
1) you have chosen more (or less) modules then required; (relevant to Level 4, 5, and 6)
2) you have chosen 2 free choice finance modules; (relevant to Level 5 and 6)
3) you have chosen 2 free choice economics modules; (relevant to Level 5 and 6)
4) you have chosen 2 free choice modules in a single semester; (relevant to Level 5 and 6)
5) you have chosen modules which are not offered in particular semester. Eg. Economics of financial crisis and Public finance are offered in semester 2 only. (relevant to Level 5)
6) you have chosen modules from different courses. Economics with Finance students are allowed to choose modules from Economics or Finance course modules only. Selecting modules from BA, BIS or CL is not allowed; (relevant to Level 5 and 6)
7) you have chosen a module, which shows your status as incomplete from particular last year module. You do not have to retake them again, just attending the missed exam will be sufficient.
8) you have assigned those modules because you have not chosen any modules. (relevant to Level 4, 5 and 6)
The above mentioned are the main reasons for changes in your module selection list.
I have also found that some student have confused some finance modules with economics and some economics modules with finance. For example: Management Accounting is finance module not economics. Money and Banking is finance module not economics.
If you find out that your modules have been changed, please carefully check whether you followed module registration requirements before sending an email to me.
Moreover, if you are not satisfied with the choice made for you, then you will be given another chance later to change it to those modules which are consistent with the requirements and under your preference. An announcement will be made about module change.
