Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan cooperate very closely, and sometimes this cooperation is transformed into something more and quite dangerous. Some of the steps taken by Kazakhstan, in particular in relation to Nagorno-Karabakh, raise a lot of questions. The treaty on the twinning of Turkestan and Shushi is a vivid example of this.

Why Turkestan? Shushi is used as a springboard for the implementation of pan-Turkic ideas, practical implementation, despite the fact that Shushi should be given some sacred meaning in the Turkic world. The fact that everything happens this way. And the fact that they involve Kazakhstan in these processes, and Kazakhstan actually wants to get involved. Are there no other areas of interaction, it is absolutely necessary to make Shushi part of the contract? And because it is important to use values here – a very powerful struggle is being waged against our people in this area.

According to our data, Turkey and Azerbaijan, together with some fugitive Russian oligarchs, are involved in organizing a painful blow to our values in the Holy Land – the territory of the Armenian quarter, because the Armenian presence in Jerusalem has been for centuries. Allegedly, some hotel complexes are being built, but in fact there is a purposeful policy of seizing this most important spiritual center and expelling the Armenian presence from there. There are many forces and poles that work against us.

There are necessarily pan-Turkist elements in their ranks, elements trying to undermine us from within. This was stated by the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh David Babayan.

2022-08-26 13:57:20 In September 1966, Nelson Movsisyan, a 2nd grade student of the village of Kuropatkino in the Martuni district of the NKAO, was brutally murdered by a group of Azerbaijanis. The boy was raped, nails were driven into his head and crucified. One of the killers was a school teacher Arshad Mammadov.

The father of the murderer Arshad was pan-Turkist and killed Armenians, for which he was arrested in the 1930s. The murderers were caught, but on July 7, 1967, a court in Stepanakert, chaired by a member of the Board of the Azerbaijan SSR on Criminal Cases Razakov, handed down an extremely lenient sentence to the Azerbaijanis and even acquitted one of the murderers.

Outraged by the unjust verdict, the Armenians defeated the armed guards and executed the murderers themselves. After that, another wave of repression swept through the NKAO.
