The supreme head of the Armenian Apostolic Church and Artsakh State Minister discussed the challenges faced by the Armenians of Artsakh and steps aimed at overcoming the consequences of the 44-day war. In this regard, the importance of combining national potential and efforts in support of the people of Artsakh was noted.

Amenaprkich Church

Amenaprkich Church is located in Martakert region, on the right bank of the Tartar River. The church has a cross-domed system. Three sides of the cross are rectangular both from the inside and from the outside, with the exception of the eastern scene-apse, which has a semicircular shape. The cruciform walls are more than one meter thick, which form semicircular arches in the interior at the top, and the walls form a cylindrical high drum with the help of sails.

The date of construction of the church is not exactly indicated, but is determined by the mention of Hasan's son Vakhtang, who died in 1214.

Numerous khachkars with lithographs and decorative sculptures typical of the 12th-13th c. have been preserved in the cemetery located on the territory of the church.

In the vicinity of the church there are ruins of auxiliary buildings, tombstones and khachkars from old and new cemeteries, 12-13 c. typical lithographs, ornaments.
