It is clear that the number of crimes in all areas increased, albeit to widely varying degrees. While the figure for car theft rose dramatically, those of house burglary and street robbery saw a slight increase over the period in question.
In 1970, the differences between the numbers of these three areas of crime were not so big, but this changed in the next fifteen years. The figures for car theft and house burglary, which were at 0.4 and 0.2 respectively, followed a similar pattern and rose to around 1 and 0.7 in 1990. This is in marked contrast to the number of street robberies, which stayed at almost 0 until this year.
After the year 1990, the patterns changed noticeably. The figure for car theft continued its upward trend and soared to 1.6 in 1995 while that of house burglary leveled off at about 0.7. However, these figures experienced a downward trend over the next ten years, with the former dropping to 1 and the latter decreasing to around 0.5. By contrast, the number of street burglaries rose to 0.2 in 2000 and remained the same until the end of the period.

2021-08-06 09:23:32 The two maps give information about what changes have taken place in the layout of a school.
It is clear that the school has experienced major changes, the most important of which are the erection of new facilities, the reconstruction of a road and the contraction of playing fields.
Looking at the northern part of the school, an entrance and an exit have remained untouched, but the road has been rebuilt in a curved shape. There used to be two car parks at the entrance and next to an office building. While the one at the entrance has been expanded, the other has been demolished to make way for the road. Although an office building has not seen any changes, a library building has got smaller and turned into a learning resource center and computer room.
As for the classrooms, the one which used to be behind the old car park has been relocated to the almost central part of the school. Meanwhile, a two-story classroom building has been reconstructed adding an extra story, and a new classroom has been erected to its south. Both of these changes have been made to accommodate an increased number of 2300 students.
Finally, playing fields that used to cover almost half of the school territory have shrunk, paving the way for new classrooms. Also, a triangular fitness room and a pool have been constructed on the left side of the playing area.
