My report!
The bar chart compares the proportion of Australian boys and girls who engaged in different sport activities after school in 2010. It is clear that Netball was by far the most popular sport among girls while boys showed a keen interest in Football compared to other sports.
In 2010, around 20 percent of Australian school boys played football after school hours. This figure was significantly higher than that of girls whose proportion was at mere 4 percent. However, the number of girls was noticeably more than that of boys when it comes to Netball and Swimming, at around 18 and 16 respectively.
As for the least chosen sports, it can be seen that proportions of boys and girls were all but similar. While the number of boys was slightly higher in Basketball, at 8 percent, it was the proportion of girls who outnumbered in terms of those who did not participate in any type of sports.
