2021-11-22 18:10:25 A man said to ʿAbd Allah Ibn ʿUmar (may Allah be pleased with him): “I carried my mother on my back all the way from Khurasān until I made her complete the rites of Ḥajj. Do you think I have repaid her?”
وقال رجل لعبد الله بن عمر رضي الله عنهما: حملت أمي على رقبتي من خراسان حتى قضيت بها المناسك، أتراني جزيتها؟

He said: “No, not even for one contraction!”
قال: (لا، ولا طلقة من طلقاتها).

The closeness of relatives can be likened to the closeness of parents to a child,
ويقاس على قرب الوالدين من الولد قرب ذوي الرجل والقرابة.

And it is befitting that a person should not be neglectful of such rights.
فينبغي ألا يقصر الإنسان في رعاية حقه.

2021-11-20 19:46:16 The seed of al-maḏāhib (ie: the schools of Islāmic jurisprudence) had actually been planted prior to this era (ie: 300H) by quite some time;
بذرة المذاهب قد بدأت قبل هذا العصر بزمان؛

For the people of al-Madīnah would rely on the fatāwá of Ibn ʿUmar,
إذْ كان أَهل المدينة يعتمدون على فتاوى ابن عمر،

While those of Makkah would do so with the fatāwá of Ibn ʿAbbās,
وأَهل مكة على فتاوى ابن عباس،

And the people of al-Kūfah with the fatāwá of Ibn Masʿūd.
وأَهل الكوفة على فتاوى ابن مسعود،

This was therefore the first planting of the ʿaṣl (ie: basis) of tamaḏhub.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ حَمْدَانَ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْبَلْخِيُّ، ثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: «كَانَتْ تَحْتَ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ امْرَأَتَانِ،

Whenever it was the day of one of his wives, he would not even drink water in the house of the other wife (so he could be just between them).”

2021-11-18 20:17:32 al-Tirmiḏī reported from Sufyān Al-Thawrī: from al-Zubair b. ʿAdī, who said: We entered upon Anas b. Mālik, complaining to him about what we come across from al-Ḥajjāj (b. Yūsuf).
أخرجه الترمذي (2/32) من طريق سفيان الثوري عن الزبير عن عدي قال: دخلنا على أنس بن مالك فشكونا إليه ما نلقى من الحجاج

So (Anas) said (which he heard from the Prophet ﷺ): “There is not a year, except that the one after it is worse than it, until you meet your Lord.”
فقال مرفوعا: " ما من عام إلا الذي بعده شر منه حتى تلقوا ربكم ".

And he (al-Tirmiḏī) said: “The ḥadīth is Ḥasan Ṣaḥīḥ.”
وقال: " حديث حسن صحيح ".

I say: The chain is Ṣaḥīḥ upon the conditions of the two Shaykhs (al-Bukhārī and Muslim), and it is reported by al-Bukhārī and others (with a slightly different wording).
قلت: وإسناده صحيح على شرط الشيخين وقد أخرجه البخاري وغيره
