2021-05-24 10:17:13 Some hours ago, the creators of Bannergress have released v1.0.0 of their platform to the public!
Bannergress is a new community project to collect and display mission banners, created after the horrific loss of IngressMosaik.

The creators have stated on the website that the project aims at being open source, getting everyone involved and never stop developing with the help of the community.

The website is available at https://bannergress.com/ and the team also created a telegram channel where Agents can find the latest updates on this new tool

2021-05-21 23:51:24 Niantic published the Release Notes for Ingress Prime v2.72.1, coming shortly to your devices!

The main focus of this release is the upgrade for the game to Unity 2019 LTS.

Among the fixed bugs, the Mission Waypoint description was moved so as to not block the Layers button, emoji now displays correctly in the COMM, the top crash on Android received a speculative fix and notifications on iOS have been fixed so as to not display anymore and to display the correct Portal Title instead.

2021-05-19 23:30:52 A new global challenge was announced by Niantic: Operation Sentinel!

Agents will be asked to capture 4.000.000 neutral Portals in total from Friday, May 21st @ 16:00 UTC to Tuesday, June 1st @ 16:00 UTC!
• Captures are not counted uniquely, the same portal can be captured from the neutral state multiple times and they will all count towards the event.
• A new metric will be added to the Profile screen of Agents to help them monitor their progress.

The following bonuses will be active for the duration of the event:
• Drone Mark I cooldown of 60 15 minutes
• 2x AP for Resonators deployed

Our reward for completing this challenge will be a new Kinetic Capsule program which we will be able to choose by voting on a Community Forum poll from June 1st @ 19:00 UTC to June 8th @ 19:00 UTC.

Finally, the following packs will be available in the in-app store:
• Mini Builder Bundle: 10x L1 Resonators, 10x L2 Resonators, 8x L3 Resonators, 8x L4 Resonators, 5x L5 Resonators, and 5x L6 Resonators for 2500CMU
•30x Agent level Resonators for 2500CMU

2021-05-18 19:28:43 In response to the many issues experienced by iOS users with the C.O.R.E. subscription renewal, the support chatbot at support.ingress.com now contains a separate option for reporting.

It is suggested to open a ticket on the support site instead of opening a bug report on the Ingress community forum.

https://www.ingress-cards.com/ is a database of Ingress Biocards where everybody can upload cards and mark cards that he owns or has spare for further trading. It also contains a broad variety of agent-made cards!

Go check it out, especially if you are looking for a particular card: we found this community-made tool very useful!
