THE VIRTUE OF LOVE For The Sake Of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

"A man visited a brother of his in another town, and Allah sent an angel to wait for him on the road.

When he came to him, he said: 'Where are you headed?' He said: 'I am headed to a brother of mine in this town.' He said: 'Have you done him any favor for which you hope to be recompensed?' He said: 'No, but I love him for the sake of Allah (the Mighty and Sublime).'

He (angel) said: 'I am a messenger from Allah to you, to tell you that Allah loves you as you love him for His sake.'"

: Sahih Muslim 2567

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"Allah will say on the Day of Resurrection: 'Where are the two who loved one another for My sake? Today I will shade them with My shade, on a day when there will be no shade but My shade.'"

: Sahih Muslim 2566

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

"Allah عز وجل said: 'Those who love each other for the sake of My Majesty shall be upon podiums of light, and they will be admired by the Prophets and the martyrs.'"

SEEKING REFUGE With Allah From The Devil Who Whispers During Prayer

Uthman bin Abul-As (رضى الله عنه) came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, the Shaitan interferes between me and my prayer and my recitation, and he makes me confused."

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "That is (the doing of) a devil (shaitan) called Khinzab. If you feel that, then seek refuge with Allah from him (by saying: a'udhubillahi minash shaitanir rajim) and blow spittle (dry spit) to your left three times."

He (رضى الله عنه) said: "I did that and Allah took him away from me."

Spitting dryly is not the usual kind of spitting; rather it is blowing with a little saliva.

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

"The first thing for which a person will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayer. If it is complete, then the voluntary (prayers) will also be recorded for him (as an increase).

If it is not complete then Allah will say to His angels: 'Look and see whether you find any voluntary prayers for slave, and take them to make up what is lacking from his obligatory prayers.' Then all his deeds will be reckoned in like manner."

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"The first thing concerning which a person will be brought to account will be the Salah, and the first thing concerning which scores will be settled among the people, will be bloodshed."
