When a person embraced Islam, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to teach him how to observe prayer and then commanded him to supplicate in these words:

« اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَاهْدِنِي وَعَافِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي ‏»

(Allahumma-ghfirli warhamni wahdini wa-afini warzuqni)

"O Allah, grant me pardon and have mercy upon me and direct me to the path of righteousness and grant me protection and provide me sustenance."

: Sahih Muslim 2697

A man came to Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! what should I say when I ask of my Lord?"

He (ﷺ) said: "Say:

« اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَعَافِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي ‏»

(Allahumma-ghfirli warhamni wa-afini warzuqni)

Oh Allah, forgive me and have mercy on me and keep me safe and sound and grant me provision."

and he (ﷺ) held his fingers together except the thumb and said: "These words sum up (good) for you in this world and in the Hereafter."

: Sahih Muslim 2697

TO SEEK REFUGE In Allah From Shaitan

Haiwah bin Shuraih (رحمة الله) said: I met 'Uqbah bin Muslim (رضى الله عنه) and told him: I have heard that you narrate from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As (رضى الله عنهما) that the Prophet (ﷺ) would say, when he entered the Masjid:

« أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ وَبِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيمِ وَسُلْطَانِهِ الْقَدِيمِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ »

(A'udhu billahil-'azimi wa biwajhihil-karimi wa sultanihil-qadimi min-ash-shaitanir-rajim)

"I seek refuge in Allah, the Great, and in His Noble Face and His Eternal Power, from shaitan, the rejected."

He ('Uqbah رضى الله عنه) said: "Is that all?" I said: "Yes."

So he (رضى الله عنه) (added): "So when anyone says that, Shaitan says: 'He has been protected from me for the entire day.'"

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

"Those who do not show mercy to our young ones and do not realise the right of our elders are not from us."

: Abi Dawud 4943 | Hasan

Anas bin Malik (رضى الله عنه) narrated that:

"An older man came to talk to the Prophet (ﷺ) and the people were hesitant to make room for him. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "He is not one of us who does not have mercy on our young and does not respect our elders."

The RUQYAH of The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)

Aishah (رضي الله عنها) said:

"If a person complained of pain, the Prophet (ﷺ) would take some saliva with his finger, and put it in the dust, and say:

« تُرْبَةُ أَرْضِنَا بِرِيقَةِ بَعْضِنَا يُشْفَى سَقِيمُنَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّنَا ‏»

(Turbatu ardina bi-riqati ba'dina yushfa saqimuna bi-idhni rabbina)

Dust of our land mixed with the saliva of one of us will heal our sick one, by the leave of our Lord."

: Abi Dawud 3895 | Sahih

Narrated Aishah (رضي الله عنها):

"Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to read in his Ruqyah:

« بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تُرْبَةُ أَرْضِنَا، وَرِيقَةُ بَعْضِنَا، يُشْفَى سَقِيمُنَا، بِإِذْنِ رَبِّنَا ‏»

(Bismil-lahi, turbatu ardina, wariqatu ba'dina, yushfa saqimuna, bi-idhni rabbina)

In the Name of Allah. The earth of our land and the saliva of some of us cure our patient with the permission of our Lord."

: Sahih Bukhari 5746

An-Nawawi (رحمة الله) said: "The meaning of the hadeeth is that he would use his own saliva and place it on his forefinger, then put his finger on the soil of the earth, and some of that would attach itself to his finger. Then he would wipe that in the location of the pain or injury, and he would utter those words in the hadeeth as he was wiping. And Allah knows best."

2021-10-11 16:05:50 The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

"Convey (my teachings) to the people even if it were a single verse or a sentence (from the Qur'an or as-Sunna)

and tell others the stories of Bani Israel (which have been taught to you), for it is not sinful to do so.

And whoever tells a lie against me intentionally, then surely let him occupy his seat in the (Hell) Fire."
