It depicts a plant associated with Cleopatra

An amethyst seal from the time of Jesus Christ was found during excavations at the Western Wall in Jerusalem. As experts have found out, it shows a plant, the fruit of which was used to make incense during the Second Temple Period.

The seal, which could be worn as a ring, still bears an engraving depicting a bird next to a branch of the so-called Biblical persimmon. In Second Temple times it was used as an ingredient for the production of Temple incense, perfumes, balms and medicines.

The first-century historian Josephus Flavius mentioned that Mark Antony gave Cleopatra groves of such persimmon that had previously belonged to King Herod. This was probably done so that the famous queen would have an unlimited supply of expensive balm and perfume.

Located in Paulilatino, central-western Sardinia, Italy.
The well of the Santa Cristina sanctuary was built by the Nuraghic civilizations in the 11th century BC.

The well is dedicated to the cult of water, and the Nuraghic religion is also associated with astronomical entities (Sun, Moon, solstices). The staircase consists of a single ramp of 25 steps that leads down to a circular domed room that housed the well.
The sacred well has a diameter of about 2.5 m and is covered by a vaulted roof almost 7 m high, made of basalt blocks.

This fossilized organism existed about 300 million years ago and got its second name "sea lily" because of its shape. It inspired the images in Ridley Scott's science fiction classic "Alien.

The creator of Alien was the Swiss artist Hans Rudolph Giger, whom director Ridley Scott noticed and brought in to create space creatures (xenomorphs) for his film, after seeing Hans' artwork called Necronome IV. As a result, Giger's work brought the director's team the American Academy Award for Best Visual Effects in a 1979 film .

An unusual phenomenon occurred in parts of Pakistan after the 2010 flood. Millions of spiders climbed the trees to escape the flood waters caused by the floods. Wrapping their silk fibers around the trees, they turned many of them into veritable cocoons.
