It was here that the Peruvian archaeologist Julio Tello made a startling discovery in 1928: a huge, complex cemetery with tombs filled with the remains of people with the largest elongated skulls found anywhere in the world.

They became known as the Skulls of Paracas.
In all, Tello discovered more than 300 of these elongated skulls, some of which are about 3,000 years old.

In 1933, during excavations in the Egyptian village of Saqqara, 30 kilometers from Cairo, British archaeologist Walter Emery discovered something strange. While investigating Sabu's tomb, the scientist found a stone disc with three petal segments surrounded by a thin rim.


Sabu was a high-ranking official who lived during the reign of the first dynasty of pharaohs (3000-2800s BC). Over the past 80 years, Egyptologists still do not agree on why he needed such an unusual, unparalleled object. Some argued that it was a part of the lamp, although the lamps of this shape have never been seen before, someone was sure that it is a plate, but it is difficult to use it for eating.

Three years later, 9 decapitated corpses were accidentally discovered.
Mysterious disappearances continue in the valley to this day.

The locals themselves are convinced that all the deaths are the work of the Sosquatch. Creatures resembling hairy giants were often seen here, and even more often their footprints were found.
In fact, it was probably the work of a gang of thugs who were out in the valley hunting for gold miners and their prey. But the police don't seem to confirm their suspicions.

The Karnak Stones are a huge and very dense group of megaliths (consisting of over 3,000 menhirs, dolmens and mounds) in the French commune of Karnak. The megaliths of Karnak are lined up in long rows of hundreds of structures, some of which extend more than a kilometer in length. Researchers believe that the construction of the megaliths at Karnak began sometime during the Neolithic period (around 4000 BC) and that they were built over the next 2000 years. 

There are three main groups of stone rows: Le Meneq, Kermarjo and Kerlescan. 
Le Meneq is eleven rows of menhirs, 1165 meters long and 100 meters wide, which meet together. 

Kermarjo - 10 fan-shaped rows of 1,029 stone columns, about 1,300 meters long. 
Kerlescan is a smaller group of 555 stones, to the east of the other two compositions. It consists of 13 rows of stones with a total length of about 800 meters.
