The Department is trialling these tests at Albury Schools which tells me they are preparing to phase these in. But why if all teachers must be vaccinated?

Can you read between the lines? Do they know something we don't? Teacher shortage perhaps is becoming very real?

2021-11-01 08:11:36 UPDATE! Team I just received a phone call from Mark Latham who is very much on our side.

Tomorrow there is a Senate Estimates hearing which he will be asking some very specific and serious questions to the Department of Education heads.

On Thursday I'll be interviewing him and talking more about what's going on. I'll share thr interview with you all later that night.

2021-11-01 03:31:24 LEGAL UPDATES FROM BARRISTER:

Team I spoke with Raymond Broomhall very early this morning as he had been working through the night preparing for court this week.

This is where the TAS Health Care Workers are at which can have relevant roll over federally;

1. On appeal from last weeks decision, the Chief Magistrate agreed that their case has merit to be heard this Thursday 4th November in the Supreme Court.

2. Raymond is also filing in the high court today to have the PHO mandates suspended while the court cases are being heard.

3. The NEU notices of advice and concern are ready to fire once all names, salutations, addresses are checked over and merged correctly.

We are working through this with AFL Solicitors to fire off VIC and NSW.

Please understand a lot of work goes into this and we only get one shot at each course of action so we want to make sure we do it right.

1. Updates on Barristers Notice of Concerns. They will fire out this week.

2. A lead candidate for NSW Teachers Class Action is being put forward to Advocate Me.

3. John Larter NSW Paramedic Court case begins this week.

4. Red Union Legal have finalised their Step 4 letter to be sent out early this week.

We can now provide you with a support email for you to message us. Please be reasonable with your emails and keep them short and to the point.

We can only answer questions on general matters such as Red Union process and workers comp. We cannot answer questions on individual circumstances about leave etc although we can provide general guidance.
