Rock Pigeons (Columba livia) are also known as feral pigeons. Their droppings dirty the environment, are unhygienic and cause disamenities like the soiling of clothes.

Our findings during the Circuit Breaker period represent the first such study in Singapore, and helps us to better understand how changing human behaviour and limiting food sources can reduce the feral pigeon population.

Read the full study here, and learn how you can help reduce sightings of pigeons in your neighbourhood!

Have you started following our TikTok account? If not, it’s time to check us out!

Here’s a glimpse of Chestnut Nature Park, our largest nature park at 81 hectares! It is also the first nature park in Singapore to have separate mountain biking and hiking trails.

If you are heading to our parks, remember to wear a mask, observe safe distancing and keep to group sizes of up to 8 pax only, with no intermixing between groups.
