Butterfly Watch is a biannual survey that monitors butterfly populations across Singapore.

Our September 2020 survey showed that the top three most common recorded species were the Grass Yellows, Grass Blues and the Chocolate Pansy.

You can also take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the view of Hindhede Quarry located at the end of the park.

2021-03-05 08:01:12 The Elephant Fern (Angiopteris evecta) has massive leaves that can grow to about 3 by 2 metres! Even its leaflets are ‘elephant-sized’, measuring about 1 metre or longer!

Due to its size, this large, attractive native fern is often used as an ornamental plant in landscape design.

The park is also part of the Round Island Route (RIR) that has been completed and one of the points in the Coast-to-Coast Trail.

When it comes to giving a snack to your pet bird, veggies such as carrot, broccoli and sweet potato are good choices and can be given daily.

However, seeds, fruits and whole grains should be given sparingly, no more than twice a week.
