The Saudi company Kingdom Holding invested more than $500 million in Rosneft, Lukoil and Gazprom in the first quarter of this year. The founder and majority shareholder of the company is Prince Al Waleed bin Talal Al Saud. He owns 78.1% of the shares of a company listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange. Another 16.9% belongs to the KSA Public Investment Fund.

Prince Al Waleed Al Saud is the nephew of the current King of Saudi Arabia, Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He also owns stakes in Four Seasons, Citigroup, Twitter, 21st Century Fox, The Walt Disney Company.

The key theme of the EEF-2022 will be the development of the Far East and Russia in new economic and geopolitical conditions, as well as a new format of interaction between the countries in a multipolar world. The Minister of Russia for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Alexey Chekunkov emphasised that more than 70 business events are planned as part of the business programme.

Special attention was paid to the additional events within the framework of the EEF-2022. On September 5, the II International Tiger Forum will be held. Ministers from 13 tiger habitat countries are invited to participate: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, DPRK, India, Indonesia, Laos, Nepal, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam. The Ministers of Kazakhstan, Iran and Tajikistan are also invited as honorary guests of the Tiger Forum.
