Tell the Truth Thursday Saturday or Sunday Daniel 7:25
Imagine a world where everyone told you the truth. I know sometimes it’s better to hear a lie because quite frankly, the truth hurt sometimes. What husband would tell his pregnant wife that she’s fat. That’s a truth where telling a lie can save you from spending some nights on the couch. I’m not saying it’s ok to lie, but there is a lie that we have all been told. It’s a lie that we have been living for centuries. But I’m here to tell you the truth today.
Daniel told us that somebody would “think to change times and laws”, referring to God’s times and laws. I’m glad that he used the word think. Because changing God’s laws and times is something no one can do, they can only think about changing it. Unfortunately, someone did try to change it. And this is the lie that have been preached from pulpits around the world. This is the lie that most pastors have been telling their members for decades. Have you ever been told that God’s Sabbath law has been changed from Saturday to Sunday? Did you know that whoever told you that, was lying to you? Well, the truth is, there is no biblical reference for such a change. The truth is the Catholic church changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday and they admit it.
When the Catholic Church was asked:
Q. Which is the Sabbath day?
A. Saturday is the Sabbath day.
Q. Why do we observe Sunday.
instead of Saturday?
A. We observe Sunday instead of.
Saturday because the Catholic.
Church, in the Council of
Laodicea, (AD 336) transferred
the solemnity from Saturday to
Sunday…
Q. Why did the Catholic Church.
substitute Sunday for Saturday?
A. The Church substituted Sunday
for Saturday, because Christ rose
from the dead on a Sunday, and
the Holy Ghost descended upon
the Apostles on a Sunday.
Q. By what authority did the Church.
substitute Sunday for Saturday?
A. The Church substituted Sunday for
Saturday by the plenitude of that
divine power which Jesus Christ
bestowed upon her! —Rev. Peter
Geiermann, C.SS.R., (1946), p. 50.
Q. Have you any other way of proving.
that the Church has power to
institute festivals of precept?
A. Had she not such power, she could
not have done that in which all
modern religionists agree with her.
She could not have substituted the
observance of Sunday the first day
of the week, for the observance of
Saturday the seventh day, a
change for which there is no
Scriptural authority. –Rev. Stephen
Keenan, (1851), p. 174.
The Catholic Church tried to change God’s fourth Commandment Law and changed the time in which this law was to be hollowed. But today is Tell the Truth Thursday and the truth is God’s Law was never changed and He expects us to remember to keep His day Holy. I didn’t say worship, because we can worship any and every day. But we cannot keep any day holy except the one God said to. The Bible says we are to worship God in spirit and in truth. John 4:24. The truth is God wants us to keep His true Holy day and not the one the Catholic Church and other churches around the world have been lying to you about.
