2021-01-21 16:00:19 Tell the Truth Thursday
                       Saturday or Sunday
Daniel 7:25
Imagine a world where everyone told you the truth. I know sometimes it’s better to hear a lie because quite frankly, the truth hurt sometimes. What husband would tell his pregnant wife that she’s fat. That’s a truth where telling a lie can save you from spending some nights on the couch. I’m not saying it’s ok to lie, but there is a lie that we have all been told. It’s a lie that we have been living for centuries. But I’m here to tell you the truth today.

Daniel told us that somebody would “think to change times and laws”, referring to God’s times and laws. I’m glad that he used the word think. Because changing God’s laws and times is something no one can do, they can only think about changing it. Unfortunately, someone did try to change it. And this is the lie that have been preached from pulpits around the world. This is the lie that most pastors have been telling their members for decades. Have you ever been told that God’s Sabbath law has been changed from Saturday to Sunday? Did you know that whoever told you that, was lying to you? Well, the truth is, there is no biblical reference for such a change. The truth is the Catholic church changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday and they admit it.

When the Catholic Church was asked:
Q. Which is the Sabbath day?
A. Saturday is the Sabbath day.
Q. Why do we observe Sunday.
instead of Saturday?
A. We observe Sunday instead of.
Saturday because the Catholic.
Church, in the Council of
Laodicea, (AD 336) transferred
the solemnity from Saturday to
Sunday…
Q. Why did the Catholic Church.
substitute Sunday for Saturday?
A. The Church substituted Sunday
for Saturday, because Christ rose
from the dead on a Sunday, and
the Holy Ghost descended upon
the Apostles on a Sunday.
Q. By what authority did the Church.
substitute Sunday for Saturday?
A. The Church substituted Sunday for
Saturday by the plenitude of that
divine power which Jesus Christ
bestowed upon her! —Rev. Peter
Geiermann, C.SS.R., (1946), p. 50.
Q. Have you any other way of proving.
that the Church has power to
institute festivals of precept?
A. Had she not such power, she could
not have done that in which all
modern religionists agree with her.
She could not have substituted the
observance of Sunday the first day
of the week, for the observance of
Saturday the seventh day, a
change for which there is no
Scriptural authority. –Rev. Stephen
Keenan, (1851), p. 174.

The Catholic Church tried to change God’s fourth Commandment Law and changed the time in which this law was to be hollowed. But today is Tell the Truth Thursday and the truth is God’s Law was never changed and He expects us to remember to keep His day Holy. I didn’t say worship, because we can worship any and every day. But we cannot keep any day holy except the one God said to. The Bible says we are to worship God in spirit and in truth. John 4:24. The truth is God wants us to keep His true Holy day and not the one the Catholic Church and other churches around the world have been lying to you about.

2021-01-20 16:00:19 Wellness Wednesday
              What are you eating?
Matthew 4:4 KJV
Physical nourishment is not sufficient for a healthy life; we also have spiritual needs. 1 Corinthian 15:44
When Christ said to the tempter, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God,” those were the same words He said to Israel in the wilderness. Deuteronomy 8:2, 3.
In the wilderness, when all means of sustenance failed, God sent His people manna from heaven; and a sufficient and constant supply was given. This provision was to teach them that while they trusted in God and walked in His ways, He would not forsake them.
The manna that God provided the Israelites physically and spiritually preserved them. The coriander seed resemblance, white, and taste similar to a wafer made with honey, nourished their physical needs. But waking up every morning and going out to find the manna that God said would be their six days a week, and on Friday they were instructed to gather twice as much—since there would be no manna coming down on Saturday, the day of rest, fed their faith and supported their spiritual growth.
Are you eating a balanced meal? Are you nourishing your physical and spiritual health? Just as you go to the kitchen, or to your favorite restaurant to satisfy your physical appetite. You must also go to God’s Word to feed on God’s promises, God’s law, God’s protection, God’s direction, God’s peace, God’s forgiveness, and God’s wisdom to foster your spiritual maturity.
Every day you need a fresh serving of God’s Word. Yesterday’s meal served its purpose, today, open the Bible and see what’s on the menu. David encourages us to “Taste and See that the Lord is Good” Psalm 34:8.

2021-01-19 16:00:15 If Joseph had not gone to Egypt, Egypt and all the surrounding nations would have died of starvation. The Egyptian empire and all the nations that depended on its sustenance survived because of Joseph. Joseph lost two jobs before he became the second most powerful man in Egypt. I wonder what your next job will be? I think God has a better job for you, that is why you lost your current one. COVID- 19 positive people must quarantine for fourteen days. If you are a person who tested positive for COVID -19, you now have fourteen days where you do not have to go to work or should not be leaving your home; fourteen days to spend quality time with God. God chose Joseph back then to get closer to Him and to be a blessing to others, today He chose you.

2021-01-19 16:00:15 Thankful Tuesday
He Chose You

Genesis 45:3-5

Joseph’s history is an interesting one. He was loved by his father but hated by his brothers. Does that sound familiar, our heavenly father loves us with an everlasting love, but we have brothers and sisters that hate us. This hate that his brothers had for him manifested into an evil act. They sold their own brother to the Egyptians. Have you ever been sold out by those you loved or betrayed by those you trusted? This is exactly what happened to Joseph. Little did he know that God was working on him. Joseph knew of the God of his father, but he did not have a personal relationship with God. As you read this, you might be reminiscing of the time when you heard about God spoken of by your grandparents or maybe even your parents, but you never really had a personal relationship with God. Maybe you are a person who had a relationship with God, but as life got in the way, you became distant and separated from Him, and now, He is just a familiar memory like a long pass ex. You might be that person who has a relationship with God, but how close are you? Are you ready to take your relationship to the next level? How well do you really know Jesus?
After all that Joseph had been through, anyone would agree that it would have been fair for Joseph to get revenge on his brothers. But the bible says that Joseph said be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life.
Last year has really put a hurting on us, it was supposed to be the year of clear vision, it was supposed to be the year that we get things together, we trusted that last year was going to be a great year. But the opposite is true, last year sold us to a deadly virus, last year sold us to job loss, last year sold us to fearing the future, and last year sold us to burying loved ones. And now that we are in Egypt, we need to have a personal relationship with God, He cannot be the God of our grandparents or the God of our parents, or be treated like some long pass ex, Jesus needs to be your personal Lord and savior. And you need to see how God is working on you.
God’s providence is in the particular situation that you are going through right now, He chose you for this particular season. Out of all of Joseph's brothers, He chose Joseph to go to Egypt. You might feel unprepared and doubtful of what is ahead of you as Joseph did. But there are two things I want you to consider. Number one, God is trying to get closer to you. And number two, God is going to bless someone through you.
The Bible says that in all things God works for the good of those who love him. Romans 8:28. Joseph’s brothers sold him to Egypt because of hate, but God sent him to Egypt because of love. In Egypt God went from being Joseph's father's God to Joseph's God. Joseph believed that the God of his father would be his God. He then and there gave himself fully to the Lord, and he prayed that the Keeper of Israel would be with him in the land of his exile. In Egypt Joseph developed a relationship with God that he would not have been able to develop at home. You are in your Egypt today so that you can develop a relationship with God, so that he can become your personal God, and so that you can get to know Jesus. What is your Egypt? Did you lose a job? Are you infected with COVID-19 and asking yourself why me, why now?

2021-01-18 16:00:13 Mark of the Beast Monday
The Revelation of Jesus Christ

Revelation 13

The book of Revelation is written by the apostle John while he was banished to the Island of Patmos for preaching the Gospel. Some may say that the book of Revelation is a scary book, a book of symbols, and beasts. But if you look a little closer at the book of Revelation, in fact, in the first verse of the book you will find that the book of Revelation is truly the revelation of Jesus Christ. Jesus is revealing Himself to us in the book. And if we want to get to know Jesus, we must pay attention to the places in the bible where He reveals Himself. In Genesis Jesus reveals Himself as creator, in the Gospels Jesus reveals Himself as savior, and in Revelation Jesus reveals Himself as judge.
In Revelation thirteen, Jesus is a fair judge, He lets us choose who we will serve. He reveals to John in chapter thirteen that the devil will try to force us to worship him through worldly systems and governments. But if we stay faithful to the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, we will have nothing to fear. This world can be a very scary place and some of the people we daily encounter sure do act like a beast. But fear not, because we have a God who will protect us from any beast that will try to harm us. In Revelation thirteen a beast will try to put his mark on us. But those who are sealed by God cannot be marked by the beast. Are you sealed by God? Or will you receive the mark of the beast? The answer to that question can only be found by allowing God to reveal Himself to you and allow Him to put His seal on you. Over the next couple weeks lets talk about this Mark – Mark of the Beast Mondays. Read Revelation thirteen and see what God reveals to you.
