Pickled eggs.

Boil a stack of em and peel. Don't use the ones that don't peel cleanly.
Equal parts vinegar to water and a big lump of sugar.
Flavour with peppercorns, onions, jalapenos etc..
Wait two weeks and enjoy.
Store in cool cupboard or fridge for up to a couple of years.

Kale Chips.

I got heaps of kale growing, thought I'd make some chips out of it.

Drizzle in olive oil and sprinkle in some salt n pepper. I put a squeeze of lime and some chilli flakes on one batch.
Lay flat in oven at 150 Celsius for 20 mins, or in dehydrator at 80 Celsius for 2 hours.

When you cut a pumpkin or sweet potatoe and don't want to use it all, sprinkle the flesh (not the skin part) with fine pepper and cover with a peice of paper towel and your pumpkin will last in the fridge for a few weeks. Make sure you remove the centre fleshy bit with the seeds too. It helps dry out the flesh and prevents mould from growing.
