2022-04-24 11:00:56 I do believe in having our own timelines, but sometimes, I just wish I wasn't surrounded by a bunch of overachievers in life. Because no matter how hard I try to think of it differently, I always end up feeling sorry for myself. I always end up apologizing for even comparing, but it's just so hard not to when you know you're also giving it your all. That you didn't just sit there and waited for luck to rain, yet here you are and there they are.

At night, I take refuge in knowing that the stars heard all of my frustrations. All my silent cries, and that little wish that if all the things that I ever dreamed of just aren't written for me, I hope to find the courage to accept it with an open heart, and dream again.
