The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Special Victims Bureau, is investigating an allegation of a sexual assault by an unidentified male against a female adult. The incident occurred on Sunday April 10, 2022 on the 1200 block of Huntington Drive in the city of Duarte, at approximately 3:00 a.m.

Detectives have identified a person of interest in the assault and are seeking the public’s help in identifying this person.

The person of interest is described as a male Black adult, approximately 6’00” tall and approximately 200 lbs with curly hair. He was last seen wearing a blue sweater and blue pants and was carrying a dark colored camouflage backpack.

2022-06-09 06:36:36 UPDATE: A Marine Corps aircraft crashed Wednesday in the Southern California desert and civilian and military emergency crews were responding, but there were no immediate details about those on board, the military said. Five people were on board the MV-22B Osprey when it crashed in a remote area near the town of Glamis in Imperial County.

Naval Air Facility El Centro confirmed the aircraft was assigned to 3d Marine Aircraft Wing and had crashed approximately 40 miles away around Coachella Canal Road and State Road 78 near Glamis, Calif. The base also dispelled earlier reports that the aircraft was carrying “nuclear material.” According to first responders to via Imperial County Law Enforcement and Fire radio traffic, responders said at least four people were dead and a fifth person was unaccounted for.

The Osprey is based at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar and is assigned to the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing.

A military aircraft crashed in Imperial County killing four people aboard, according to preliminary reports.

Rescue teams in the area are searching for a fifth person who was aboard the craft.

2022-06-09 06:35:18 Malden, Massachusetts: A woman is accused of stealing a Malden Police Department cruiser and taking it on a ride over the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge in Boston.

Malden police said the cruiser was stolen while it was parked near the front door of the police station Tuesday night. Police issued an alert about the stolen cruiser, and a few minutes later, the vehicle was spotted on the Zakim Bridge operating erratically.

A Massachusetts State Police trooper spotted the stolen cruiser on Interstate 93 south near Massachusetts Avenue and attempted to conduct a stop.
