They came with a great idea of increasing their audience abroad. They’ve launched a quiz for compatriots living abroad, you pass the quiz get your points and win, 3 people win a chance to visit Uzbekistan from each country.

Ideas is great but there is big BUT

Only from Russia itself thousands of people have participated in the quiz, as a result we have three happy compatriots and couple thousands of unhappy people that will think twice before falling for their call to action next time. Open / Comment

Over the last decade, influencer marketing has grown tremendously and became a multi-billion dollar industry and with the growth of Instagram and the popularization of TikTok, the number of active content creators and influencers has also increased.

It eventually reduces the cost of advertising in the influencer marketing industry which is a unique opportunity for marketing specialists, however, there is also a more important point, the above growth has divided the audience.

As an active social media user, I follow many influencers and I have noticed that during the pandemic influencers with dedicated topics started popularizing more often, for example now there are not only pillars in general topics like “economics”, but also dedicated topic influencers who create content on “cryptocurrency”, “trading”, “finance” or “investing” which divides the audience. This allows a brand with limited or dedicated services or products to buy ads more precisely and to reduce advertising costs at the same time. All we have to do for a successful influencer marketing campaign is to carefully study the potential influencer and its audience then buy the services.

It is known fact that a nicely designed graphics have the biggest impact on buying decisions, but let’s talk about the importance and role of copywriting. In brief, a graphic design without the right context in Social Media Marketing is a waste!

In product descriptions, it is important to let visitors understand why they should buy from you. When looking at the picture, the client might say “Nice shoes”, but when reading the text, client should say “I need these shoes!”

The product description should not only push to make a purchase, but also contain important information: sizes, color and other characteristics that will help visitors make the right decision. Especially now that online retailers are not yet able to offer a similar experience that offline stores can offer. Even things as obvious as the color of a product need to be clarified. The client should not have doubts and questions about the product.

Osborne effect is a situation when a company makes an announcement that soon it will be releasing a new superior version of their latest product, customers would rather prefer to wait until the new product is launched which dramatically reduces the sales.
