Amazon sued 10k FB groups for review abuse; SP was not in a great mood this week being difficult on approvals and some average suspensions; There continues to be payment issues and these can only be resolved via escalations as even Amazon does not seem to know why it’s happening; amznsellerhelp on twitter overslept a few days this week and started answering around 10:30am Eastern.

An Amazon employee says sellers do not have permission to directly contact Amazon legal via email but says feel free to call. “I totally understand that you want to be transferred to the Amazon Legal team and I will do my best in order to help you with this matter. Currently we do not have a point of contact for the Amazon Legal team and we do not have the permissions or resources to hand off or forward your e-mail or documents to them. However, you could call corporate offices at (206) 266-1000 for insights on how to get in touch with the legal team.”

Some sellers have reported lost inbound inventory in FBA warehouse TUL2 . Amazon is being very difficult in reimbursing these.

A few more have received this incorrectly this week “We have detected suspicious customer review activity on one or more of the products that you sell in our store. Due to this activity, we are reducing the discoverability of the affected products in search results and promotional channels in order to protect our customers from inauthentic reviews that might influence their purchase decisions.”

SP fixed their “amazon Handmade” issue except this template “We are still reviewing your account. We will send you an email when we finish the review. We appreciate your support and thank you for selling on Amazon Handmade".

Some Sellers are receiving SMS saying their account is suspended for inactivity. This is a phishing spam text and ignore.

There have been some pretty insane BH attacks lately. “My name is Paul from Amazon Seller Support and I am reaching out to you regarding your message to us via Twitter regarding another buyer making multiple orders of your inventory. I regret to inform you that Social Media Escalations is unable to act on these reports.”

AH has been given targeted and useful information in recent weeks so definitely call when your stuck even if in the past you had a negative experience.

Overall sellers reported a better-than-expected prime day sales; amznsellerHelp was up early this week and started responding to issues as early as 7:30am Eastern time and have been quite helpful in resolving seller issues; Overall I thought SP was pretty chilled this week and did reinstate a decent number of accounts.

There have been more instances of very large payments held in reserve for no apparent reason that nobody at Amazon can explain. The only thing that has worked was Twitter and then they escalate it and the funds get released.

Sharing that a new program has launched that invests in Amazon businesses. The suits have seen enough of SKINCEUTICALS . They have gated this for almost everyone with no chance of appealing. This likely happened because of a rash of obvious counterfeits “You are not approved to list SKINCEUTICALS products and we are currently not accepting applications.”

Some sellers are reporting “Potential Trademark text misuse” on old listings, which they did NOT create.

Before primeday sellers throughout the various forums reported many pending orders that were eventually cancelled. This was the result of #AmazonGlitch viral tiktok in which it was incorrectly reported that Amazon would ship an item on a credit card that is valid but does not have enough funds. All orders were cancelled and was just a hassle for 3p sellers.

More and more brands are filing RO complaints and it’s super important for branded sellers to research which brands are abusive and are not worth fighting before they buy inventory. A great way is by emailing search@asgtg.com and placing the brand name on the subject.

There have been multiple reports of abusive BH sellers that have manipulated long standing listings right before prime day.

When the seller called to require the rep said “Figure it out!”

SP was in a pretty decent mood this week reinstating many ASINs and suspended accounts; There appears to be a new PILOT Program for frustrated appeals which seems interesting; There were OTP issues not being sent in various situations with seemingly no solution; New Amazon Associates TG group.
