La Parole de Dieu est le remède contre la folie, parce que la Parole de Dieu est la sagesse de Dieu.

Pas étonnant que Paul ait exhorté Timothée dans 2 Timothée 3:15 à prêter une totale attention aux Écritures, la Parole de Dieu, à cause de la puissance et de la capacité de la Parole à rendre sage: «dès ton enfance, tu connais les saintes lettres, qui peuvent te rendre sage à salut par la foi en Jésus-Christ.» C’est pourquoi la prédication et l’enseignement de la Parole sont si importants.

Ne laissez jamais la Parole devenir trop ordinaire pour vous. Ne soyez jamais désinvolte en ce qui concerne vos temps d’étude de la Parole et de méditation de la Parole de Dieu. La Parole est ce que Dieu utilise pour façonner votre personnalité, former votre caractère, créer vos habitudes et tracer votre chemin dans la vie afin que vous arriviez à votre destinée divine.

Absorber et la faire entrer en vous La Parole de Dieu est plus important que l’air que vous respirez. There’re people who often don’t behave wisely, even though they’re born again. The reason for this isn’t farfetched; the Bible says the one who isn’t disciplined by a wise and understanding person will grow up to be foolish. God’s Word is the cure for foolishness, because the Word of God is the wisdom of God.

No wonder Paul admonished Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:15 to give uninhibited attention to the Scriptures, God’s Word because of the Word’s power and capacity to make one wise: “And that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” That’s why the preaching and the teaching of the Word are so important.

Don’t ever let the Word become too common to you. Never be casual with your study times and meditation on God’s Word. The Word is what God uses to mould your personality, form your character, create your habits, and chart your course in life in order for you to arrive at your divine destiny.

God’s Word—imbibing it— is more important than the air you breathe. If you stop taking in the Word, you’ll find yourself walking at cross-purposes with God. If you ever want your life to be balanced, full of excellence, grace and glory, the Word of God is the key.

Job said, “I have cherished your Word more than my necessary food” (Job 23:12). Just as food is necessary for your body’s physical growth and development, your human spirit must feed on the Word. Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly….” Inundate your entire being with the Word. Think through the Word; train yourself to reason only by the Word, and not only will you please God, your life will be full of His glory.

LET’S TALK
The scripture above is a beautiful prayer by the apostle Paul for the Body of Christ. In it, he lets us know that with the knowledge of the love of Christ, we will be filled with all the fullness of God. When you’re in class and being taught, how do you respond to the lessons? You go home and practise what you’ve learnt so you don’t forget it, right? It’s the same with God’s Word. When you hear it, either as you study your Rhapsody of Realities for Early Readers for Early Readers or in church, you must respond to it by putting what you learned to work.

When you learn to respond to God’s Word by putting it to work, it will produce the fruits of those things it talks about in your life.

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men (1 Timothy 2:1).

Interceding for others is something you do regularly, not when it's convenient, but as a ministry. You should be effective in changing other people's lives through prayers. If there's someone in the church who's not been very consistent and almost giving up the faith, perhaps due to intense trials and persecution, intercede for that one. You'll make an impact; you'll restore that life.

The latter part of James 5:16 says, "...The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much"; this is in the context of praying for others; he lets us know how we can be effective in changing other people's lives. The Amplified Version says, "...The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]". When you notice some believers around you, who're not growing well in Christ, intercede for them. If you have relatives and friends who aren't born again, you should be interceding for them very strongly; don't take it lightly! Remember, the Bible says there's joy in the presence of the angels of God in heaven over one sinner that repents (Luke 15:10).

Intercessory prayer isn't something you're casual about; it's heartfelt; that means your emotions are involved; you keep at it until there's a testimony. It could take days, weeks, months, but don't stop; keep praying, because the value of the one you're interceding for is the life of Jesus. Each one of us is as valuable to God as Jesus is. So, when you take up a matter concerning another believer, and you're praying, you're not wasting time; you're causing a changing in the realm of the Spirit.

Sometimes, there could be people, who are carnal among us and may act foolishly; don't get angry at them; intercede for them instead. Fight for their souls, because Satan is the one deceiving them; don't let him win. Keep interceding for them fervently and passionately, praying in other tongues, until the Holy Spirit takes over the intercession with deep sighs - groanings that are too deep for words! "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered" (Romans 8:26).

PRAYER
Precious Father, I pray for increased revelation, and understanding of your Word amongst your children all around the world! I declare that the Church abounds more and more in knowledge, and growing stronger by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for the work of the Holy Ghost in the churches, all around the world, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

My eyes are His eyes-He sees through me, these eyes will never be blind. My mind is daily renewed by the Word of God; I am mentally sound-there is no room for depression or any contrary thought. There's no room for infirmity or weakness in my life. The life of God in me destroys all forms of sickness, disease, and infirmity. Jesus is the Lord of my life; sickness will never lord it over me or find a place in my body. I refuse to let pain thrive in my body! I am strong in the Lord, and in the power of His Might. Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 2:1).

There’s no doubt that as Christians, we’re mightily graced of God; He’s lavished His grace upon us in superabundance. An important question to therefore ask would be, how far can we go with this grace? How much more can we explore this grace? Our theme verse admonishes us to “be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.”

To be strong in the grace of God is to walk in the fullness of His grace. In Acts 3, the Bible gives us a perfect example of how we can use the grace of God and produce supernatural results. Peter and John were going into the temple at the time of prayer, and they found a man who was crippled from birth. The Bible says the beggar, “Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms” (Acts 3:3).

Peter knew this was an opportunity to put the grace of God to work. So, he said to the man, “Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk” (Acts 3:6). But the man didn’t quite get up. Then Peter yanked him up, and immediately, his ankle bones received strength, and the man was healed. Blessed be God! He placed a demand on the grace of God, and it worked!

This is what you’ve got to do in your life. Explore the grace of God in your everyday affairs, in simple matters; use it. Depend on it for the results you expect, the positive outcomes you desire in your life, ministry, work, family, business or academics.

Grace promotes. Grace lifts; it’ll take you from where you are right now to your next and higher place in and with the Spirit. Remember what He said to the Apostle Paul when he (Paul) was in a predicament: “...My grace is sufficient for thee...” (2 Corinthians 12:9); in other words, that’s what you need! Trust the grace of God to help you accomplish God’s call and purpose for your life.
