Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has fired 280 shells and mines from 122-mm multiple launch rocket systems BM-21 "Grad", 152 and122-mm cannon artillery and 120-mm mortars.

The areas of 8 settlements of the Republic were under shelling. As a result of the Ukrainian aggression, 1 civilian was killed and 4 were injured. 25 residential building and 5 civilian infrastructure facility were damaged.

Materials on the fact of wounding civilians and damage to infrastructure will be transferred to the DPR General Prosecutor's Office for inclusion in criminal cases initiated against the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The servicemen of the Donetsk People's Republic, together with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, continue to liberate the settlements of our Republic from Ukrainian invaders.

Since the beginning of the day, our servicemen have destroyed 32 Ukrainian nationalists, 6 firing positions, 1 tank and 2 armored vehicles. 1 armored personnel carrier, 1 ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft gun and 1 cargo vehicle were captured.

Unfortunately, there were losses among our fighters. Over the past day, in the struggle for independence, 5 defenders of the Donetsk People's Republic died in the line of military duty and 17 comrades were injured.

Today we celebrate the bright holiday of Easter together with our fellow countrymen, who have been under Ukrainian occupation for eight long years.

The Mariupol St. Michael's Cathedral is crowded. Inhabitants of this long-suffering city really perceive this holiday as a passage from death to life, as a triumph of justice.

I congratulate all Orthodox Christians on the Great Easter. May this spring day fill hearts of people with faith in the victory of good over evil, warmth and joy of communicating with loved ones.

Today, at the request of Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine I.Vereshchuk the Russian side organized a humanitarian corridor and provided transport for evacuation of the civilian population from Mariupol.
This peaceful initiative was disrupted by Ukrainian nationalists, who opened fire with the use of mortars from the territory of Azovstal plant at the declared gathering place for citizens near the Port City shopping center on Shevchenko Blvd.

Thanks to professionalism of Russian servicemen, who ensured the safety of gathering place for citizens, it was possible to withdraw all the people from shelling and prevent more civilian casualties. One of the servicemen who rescued women and children was wounded.

This provocation confirms that nationalists are ready to sacrifice fellow citizens just to discredit humanitarian efforts undertaken by the Russian side.

It is possible that the blame for numerous casualties among the civilian population would have been assigned to Russia and its Armed Forces in case this inhuman provocation had succeded. Open / Comment

2022-04-22 10:29:23 A mass rally in support of the Russian Federation and its special military operation on protection of the Donbass Republics, denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine took place in one of the largest cities of Lebanon, Sayda.

Dozens of Russian compatriots and residents of Lebanon with Russian flags and banners "We are for the truth" gathered to express solidarity with the Russian Federation and its people. Rally participants paid tribute to the memory of Russian servicemen who died while performing tasks of a special military operation in Ukraine. The event was accompanied by a live orchestra performing patriotic Russian songs, as well as performances by activists.

As part of campaign, a Beirut-Side motor rally along the coastal highway with Russian flags was also held.

The event was organized by Lebanese-Russian Solidarity Committee, the Association of Russian-speaking Women "Rainbow" and graduates of Russian universities.
