Every child of God has been called into a live of triumph for we win all the time. It’s like being in a race where you always win no matter who your competitors are or how the race seems. Apostle Paul understood this truth which is why he boldly declared in Romans 8:37 “yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

This means that no matter the situation or challenge, victory is assured. This is your life as God’s child. Therefore “…count it all joy when you fall into various trials,” (James 1:2) because you’re coming out on top.

It’s in a dogs nature to bark and walk on all four legs. It will be strange to see a fish jump out of the water and start barking. The reason is that it’s not in the nature of the fish to do that. In the same manner, in Christ, you have a new nature too. This nature makes you different from the world and that’s the nature of love.

Now, you can love and forgive people easily, therefore let those around you experience the love of God through you today as you share the gospel and talk to them about Jesus.

You should never believe any of the devils liars, the Bible says “…he’s a liar and the father of it” (John 6:44). He has deceived many into thinking he’s got power but the Bible tells us all power belongs to Jesus (Matthew 28:18).

Therefore, if you know the Word, you won’t yield to his deceits and tricks. Therefore, spend time each day with the word studying and meditating on it; it will reveal to you the truth of all your blessing in Christ and how to enjoy them.

In the Old Testament, jubilee was a special time for the children of Israel. It was a time when every debt was forgiven, slaves were freed, the hungry were fed, and that was a time of celebration for everyone.

For you in Christ, the real jubilee began when you were born again. You’ve entered into the rest of God and into a time of celebration. See why everyday should be joyful and exciting for you, you don’t have to wait for a special day to celebrate for your celebration is every second of every day. Hallelujah!

The beginning part of the New Year is a good time to make plans to be more excellent in everything including your academics. Every child of God has an excellent spirit. That means it’s possible to be excellent in all your subjects at school.

Remember Daniel? He had an excellent spirit and developed and excellent character which made him stand out in all he did. Like Daniel, choose to stand out in all your school work and assignments. Do everything diligently and carefully, spend time to study your notes before classes too.

Remember the story of the woman with the issue of blood? She has been in that condition for 12 long years. But everything changed when she heard Jesus was coming to town. She believed that if she touched His garment she will be healed. She did and she was healed instantly.

Every child of God has faith. We all received the same measure of faith when we were born again. Faith is so powerful that even if it is small as a mustard seed it can still move mountains. That’s what the scripture says. Therefore, put your faith to work today by acting on the Word.

As the New Year begins today, one thing you should rid yourself of is worry. God doesn’t want you to worry about anything, worrying will stop your faith from working. That’s why the Bible says “Never worry about anything…” (Philippians 4:6 GW).

So, what should you do if you have anything bordering you? Pray! When you pray especially in other tongues, you’re activating your faith to receive from God. If there’s something you need, it might be a new school bag or shoes, get on your knees and speak in other tongues and don’t forget to thank God for the answers.

In some parts of the world, ducks are referred to as ‘waterfowls'; this is because like swans, they belong to the group of birds that can be found near water. Here are a few interesting facts about these water-loving birds:

1, Unlike most birds, ducks have webbed feet. This helps them swim, and wade in the water.

2. These natural swimmers have special oil glands that make their feathers waterproof... no wonder they never get wet!

3. Ducks are curious, friendly and intelligent animals, and can be domesticated (raised as pets or farm animals).

4. Most ducks make quacking sounds to communicate; however, not all ducks quack.

5. They are very clean birds, and you can see them often using their beaks to give themselves a good wipe down.

6. These birds are omnivores (eat both plants and meat), they'd eat anything from little fish, worms, and insects to plants.

As God's child, you don’t need to beg Him before He does anything for you. All you have to do is use His Name. Look at today’s opening scripture again, it says all power and authority are in the Name of Jesus. We've received His Name to rule and reign in life!

Therefore, refuse to beg or feel sorry for yourself; rather, use the Name of Jesus in faith as you make bold declarations of what you want according to God’s will.
