The club described the incident in a firm statement titled “Nicht mit uns!”—that is, “Not with us!” (FC Energie Cottbus)In the past few days, several players of FC Energie Cottbus received offers for manipulating the match at Ludwigsfelder FC in the AOK-Landespokal Brandenburg [editor: i.e. the cup for the state of Brandenburg]. The Bavarians do look like the “real deal” again this season and are set to make a strong push for European glory for the first time ever.Match HighlightsKlara Bühl was unlucky to not put Bayern up 1-0 in the 14th minute, but the goal post had different ideas. She would, however, turn provider in the 20th minute, beating the Sand goalkeeper and seeing the ball end up in the path of Linda Dallmann to put Bayern in front. Bühl was a terror to the Sand backline all day. She nearly found her first in the 37th minute, but a nice save denied her. Unfortunately for Sand, Hanna Glas headed in Lina Magull’s cross for her second goal of the season. Bühl though she found her goal in the 2nd minute, but Michaela Brandenburg cleared it off the line to keep the Bayern lead at only 2-0.Lea Schüller scored a rebound in the 55th minute to give Bayern the insurmountable 3-0 lead.
