LA FOI PARLE

Nous avons le même esprit de foi qui est exprimé dans cette parole de l’Ecriture: j’ai cru, c’est pourquoi j’ai parlé; nous aussi nous croyons, et c’est pour cela que nous parlons (2 Corinthiens 4:13).

Quelle belle et inspirante description nous avons dans Hébreux 11 de ceux qui font partie du panthéon de la foi. La Bible dit que ces hommes et femmes ont dominé et façonné leur monde, leur époque, par la foi. L’offrande d’Abel à Dieu, par exemple, était un acte de foi: «C’est par la foi, qu’Abel offrit à Dieu un sacrifice plus excellent que celui de Caïn, c’est par elle qu’il fut déclaré juste, Dieu approuvant ses offrandes; et c’est par elle qu’il parle encore quoique mort » (Hébreux 11:4).

Abel ne faisait pas juste une sorte de cérémonie la bouche fermée, non! Il a dit certaines choses, si bien que quoique mort, son sang parle encore. Quelle était exactement sa confession? Cela aurait certainement été en harmonie avec ce que les autres patriarches ont confessé. La Bible dit qu’ils ont reconnu qu’ils étaient des étrangers dans le monde: «C’est dans la foi qu’ils sont tous morts, sans avoir obtenu les choses promises, mais ils les ont vues et saluées de loin, reconnaissants qu’ils étaient étrangers et voyageurs sur la terre» (Hébreux 11:13).

Ce qui est important est qu’ils avaient déclaré des paroles de foi. Cela nous aide à apprendre comment ils avaient créé et façonné leur temps. Ils ont parlé de leur avenir; ils ont dit ce qui allait arriver, et ont fait tout ce qu’ils ont fait, par la foi. C’est le même esprit de foi à l’œuvre en nous aujourd’hui. Nous croyons, et donc nous parlons.

La foi est le nom qui vient de croire; croire est un verbe. Votre foi est démontrée par des paroles qui vous poussent à l’action. Vous ne pouvez pas croire et vous taire. Même dans le règne négatif – le règne satanique – ils utilisent le même principe parce que c’est un principe spirituel. S’ils ne le disent pas, ils savent que cela n’arrivera pas.

N’est-ce pas ce que Jésus a dit dans Marc 11:23? Il a dit que vous aurez ce que vous dites: «Car en vérité, je vous le dis en vérité, si quelqu’un dit à cette montagne: Ote-toi de là, et jette-toi dans la mer; et s’il ne doute point en son cœur, mais croit que ce qu’il dit arrive; il le verra s’accomplir.» Prononcez des paroles pleines de foi et dominez votre monde.

TO THE BIBLE 1 John 4:1 MSG “My dear friends, don’t believe everything you hear. Carefully weigh and examine what people tell you. Not everyone who talks about God comes from God. There are a lot of lying preachers loose in the world.”

LET’S TALK
The Scripture in Romans 13:1 says, “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.” Some people misunderstand this for a pass to follow instructions from any one with some form of authority. They’d say, “He’s a renowned leader; therefore, he must be speaking the truth,” but that’s not how it works.

Our opening verse means you don’t just run with or do whatever you’re told by just anybody; examine where that authority is coming from. It could be from Satan. So, you have to be careful. God can choose a leader, and the leader can still go against the will OF God.

The Scripture is full of examples of people who went against God, even though they were chosen by God. For example, in 1 Samuel 15, Saul was going to war against Amalek and was instructed to destroy everything. He did as was asked, but he spared Agog the king, he also spared the sheep, oxen and everything else he thought was good. What was God’s response? He said to Samuel the prophet, “I regret making Saul king, for he has turned back from following Me and has not performed My commands…” (1 Samuel 15:11 AMPC).

Just because you liked what someone of authority told you doesn’t mean it was from God. Always remember that God’s Word is the supreme authority by which we judge all things. Always weigh and double-check what you hear with the Word!

THE WORD ON YOUR LIPS

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear (Hebrews 11:3).

There’re three important words to note in our theme verse; they are framed, words, and world. The word “framed” is translated from the Greek “katartizo”, and it means to restore or mend. “Worlds” lj is translated from the Greek “aion” which means “course of life”; the structure and administration or seasons and times of one’s life on earth.

“Word,” on the other hand, is translated from the Greek word “rhema,” and it means the spoken and active word to a specific person, for a specific purpose, at a specific time. From the foregoing, we observe that the “aions” were framed, mended, restored by the Word (rhema) of God.

The expression “rhema of God” as you find in the New Testament is never applied to God talking by Himself, but to God putting His Word in man’s heart for man to speak. So, our theme verse doesn’t mean that God was “framing the aions”; it means that men framed their worlds—courses of life— by using the Word of God; they uttered “rhema.”

With “rhema” you give shape, structure and beauty to your world, to your life; you construct the conditions—what your world and life should be like— with the Word on your lips. What’s your life like today? Do you want a life of ever-increasing grace, glory and dominion? The key is your mouth!

It makes no difference what obtains presently in your “aion”; you can mend what needs mending; you can restore what needs restoration; you can fix anything that’s been ruined. You can quell terror and put a halt to the malicious destructions and havoc the devil seeks to wreak in your world, life, family, city or country, or in the lives of your loved ones, by uttering the Word of God that your spirit has taken a hold of.

Use the Word. Put it on your lips and use it to keep the adversary in his place. Use it to frame the course of your life to be consistent with God’s plan and purpose for your life. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you, for the course of my life is consistent with your perfect will, plans and purposes. I live victoriously over the adversary and the adversities of life; the Word on my lips puts me over; I reign in dominion over circumstances, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify (strengthen and build up) one another, just as you are doing (1 Thessalonians 5:11 AMPC).

There’re Christians who got offended and almost gave up the faith because someone in their local church mistreated or disappointed them. That’s wrong. God didn’t tell us everyone in the church will like us, treat us well and always be helpful to us. But He told you to like others, treat them well, and always be willing to help. So, it begins with YOU!

Don’t let the reason you’re the member of any particular church or group in church be that you’re looking for someone to help you; rather, develop a desire to render service, to help others. Acts 20:35 tells us that it’s more blessed to give than to receive.

If you felt ignored, rejected and uncared for, that should let you know what some others might be feeling too. So, take up the responsibility and look out for those in a similar situation and encourage and strengthen them. That’s Christian ministry; it’s one of the beautiful blessings and privileges you get from being a member of a local church. The church—the local church—has a ministry, and God wants you to be a vital member.

There’s no one on earth who has no family; everyone belongs in a family. If you find that you’re the only one you know in your entire family, reach out and help someone else who’s lonely, and make them part of your family. You should never be alone. Don’t live for yourself only. Be responsible for others, just as there’re leaders over you who are responsible for you.

Dear Father, I thank you for the opportunity to fellowship with others in the household of faith and be instructed, encouraged, strengthened, energized and programmed by your Word for a great and glorious life. Il y a des Chrétiens qui ont été offensés et ont presque abandonné la foi parce que quelqu’un dans leur église locale les a offensés ou déçus. C’est mauvais. Dieu ne nous a pas dit que tout le monde dans l’église nous montrerait de l’affection, ou nous traiterait bien et nous aiderait toujours. Mais Il vous a dit d’aimer les autres, de bien les traiter et d’être toujours prêt à les aider. Alors, ça commence par VOUS!

Ne permettez pas que la raison pour laquelle vous êtes membre d’une église ou d’un groupe quelconque dans l’église soit parce que vous cherchez quelqu’un pour vous aider; développez plutôt le désir de rendre service; aidez les autres. Actes 20:35 nous dit qu’il y a plus de bonheur à donner qu’à recevoir.

Si vous vous sentez ignoré, rejeté et négligé, cela devrait vous faire savoir que d’autres pourraient également se sentir ainsi. Alors, assumez votre responsabilité et cherchez ceux qui se trouvent dans une situation similaire, puis encouragez-les et fortifiez-les. C’est ça le ministère Chrétien; c’est l’un des merveilleux privilèges et bénédictions que vous obtenez en étant membre d’une église locale. L’église—l’assemblé locale, a un ministère, et Dieu veut que vous soyez un membre vital.

Il n’y a personne sur terre qui n’ait pas de famille; tout le monde appartient à une famille. Si vous trouvez que vous êtes le seul que vous connaissez dans toute votre famille, allez aider quelqu’un d’autre qui se sent seul, et intégrez-le à votre famille. Vous ne devriez jamais être seul; ça ce n’est pas une vie. Ne vivez pas que pour vousmême. Sentez-vous responsable des autres, tout comme il y a des leaders au-dessus de vous qui sont responsables de vous.
