Ce à quoi vous pensez, et la manière dont vous pensez, c’est très important, car votre vie est façonnée par vos pensées. Filtrez et purifiez vos pensées; Montez une garnison au niveau de votre cœur, car de votre cœur proviennent les sources de la vie! Vous devez être le policier de votre cœur; prenez contrôle de votre cœur. N’autorisez pas toutes sortes de pensées. Autorisez uniquement les pensées de Dieu; les pensées justes et les pensées d’amour en Christ Jésus.

La Bible nous indique de manière spécifique le type de pensées que nous devons accepter: «Au reste, frères, que tout ce qui est vrai, tout ce qui est honorable, tout ce qui est juste, tout ce qui est pur, tout ce qui est aimable, tout ce qui mérite l’approbation, ce qui est vertueux et digne de louange soit l’objet de vos pensées» (Philippiens 4:8).

Vous êtes le caractère de vos pensées. Vous devenez ce à quoi vous pensez. Le Seigneur Jésus a en fait relaté cela dans Ses enseignements de façon très claire. Il a dit, «Vous avez appris qu’il a été dit: tu ne commettras point d’adultère. Mais moi, je vous dis que quiconque regarde une femme pour la convoiter a déjà commis un adultère avec elle dans son cœur» (Matthieu 5:27-28).

Vos pensées peuvent vous procurer une vie glorieuse ou vous maintenir sur le bas-côté de la vie. Si vous laissez la parole dominer vos pensées, elle va créer de bonnes pensées en vous et vous donnera la mentalité qu’il faut. Vous penserez victoire, succès, domination et possibilités uniquement.

Romains 12:2 dit, «Et ne vous conformez pas au siècle présent mais soyez transformés par le renouvellement de votre intelligence….» Lorsque vos pensées sont conformes à la Parole, votre vie sera le reflet de Sa gloire, car la gloire est dans Sa Parole. Alors, disciplinez votre intelligence pour accepter uniquement de bonnes pensées.

YOUR LIFE IS SHAPED BY YOUR THOUGHTS

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23).

It’s not every thought that comes to you that is from God. The only way you know the source of your thoughts is through the light of God’s Word, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It’s very important what you think about, and how you think, because your life is shaped by your thoughts. Our theme verse in the Good News translations says, “Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.”

Screen and filter your thoughts; mount garrison over your heart, because out of your heart are the issues of life! You have to be the policeman of your heart; take charge of your heart. Don’t allow every thought. Allow only God’s thoughts, righteous thoughts and thoughts of love in Christ Jesus.

The Bible specifically lets us know the kind of thoughts to allow: “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” (Philippians 4:8).

You’re the character of your thoughts. What you think about, you become. The Lord Jesus actually related this in His teachings in a most enlightening way. He said, “Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart” (Matthew 5:27-28).

Your thoughts can deliver to you a glorious life or keep you on the sidewalk of life. If you’d let the Word dominate your thinking, it’ll create the right thoughts in you and give you the right mindset. You’d think victory, success, dominion and possibilities only.

Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind….” When your thoughts are consistent with the Word, your life will be a reflection of His glory, for the glory is in the Word. So, discipline your mind to accept only the right thoughts.

Dear Father, I consciously think the right thoughts and meditate only on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of a good report, virtuous and praiseworthy. There are Christians who don’t have the reverential fear of God; they think they’re at liberty to live the way they choose. But that’s dangerous. There’s a way of life that’s not right for a Christian, and if you’re going to fulfil the purpose of God for your life, then you’ve got to have purity of heart; you must live according to your nature of righteousness and true holiness in Christ

In Joshua 3:5, we read something striking that Joshua said to the children of Israel. He said, “…Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the LORD will do wonders among you.” Joshua understood the power of sanctification; the power of separating yourself from the wrong things; the power of purifying your mind and your life.

You’re God’s vessel, sanctified to be in fellowship with Him through the Holy Spirit. Don’t jeopardize that communion because of a bad attitude or worldly lifestyle. 2 Corinthians 13:5 says, “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves….” Use the Word to purge and examine yourself always. 2 Timothy 2:21 says, “If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.”

Do you want to continually experience the supernatural in your life? Then, keep yourself in the purity of the Spirit; don’t live the wrong life. Don’t get yourself entangled with the things of this world, for the Bible says, “No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life…” (2 Timothy 2:4).

You were separated from the World through the Gospel, but you’ve got to take the world out of you, through the sanctification of your mind and soul. This happens as you yield to the authority and lordship of the Word, and guidance of the Holy Spirit in your life. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
I’m sanctified, set apart, for God’s use. I’m continually transformed by the renewing of my mind, in the image of Christ. I stay on the path of purity, yielded to the Word, and the authority and guidance of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Ce dont Dieu se soucie le plus sur la terre, ce sont les âmes des hommes. La Bible dit dans Jean 3:16: «Car Dieu a tant aimé le monde qu’Il a donné Son fils unique, afin que quiconque croit en lui ne périsse point, mais qu’il ait la vie éternelle.» Il a aimé le monde des humains, et non des choses; nous sommes l’objet de Son amour. Chacun de nous est plus important pour Lui que les planètes et les galaxies.

Dieu a des anges qui supervisent les galaxies et d’autres anges qu’il a établis sur d’autres affaires. Mais les anges ayant la tâche la plus honorable sont ceux qui ont la charge des hommes, des âmes pour lesquelles Jésus est mort. Lorsque vous comprenez cela en tant que chrétien, et surtout en tant que leader d’une cellule ou d’un groupe dont vous êtes responsable, ou d’une communauté au sein de l’église locale, vous accorderez la priorité aux gens.

Vous pourriez dire: « Mais je n’ai que trois personnes dans ma cellule!» Mais aussi petit que ce nombre puisse paraître, vous êtes plus important pour Dieu que celui qui est chargé de l’environnement et de toutes les infrastructures d’une planète ou d’un continent quelconque? Un leader de cellule dans la maison de Dieu a plus de valeur dans le livre des honneurs de Dieu que celui qui n’est pas né de nouveau mais qui pourrait être politiquement responsable d’une nation entière.

Lisez les paroles de Jésus dans Marc 8:36-37: « Et que sert-il à un homme de gagner le monde entier s’il perd son âme?» Cela signifie que le monde entier -- tout le cosmos -- ne peut être comparé à la valeur d’une âme. Une âme vaut le sang de Jésus.

Si vous étiez la seule personne sur terre, Jésus serait quand même venu mourir pour vous. Il n’est pas venu parce que nous étions nombreux; Il est venu parce que nous sommes précieux pour Dieu. C’est pourquoi Dieu ne veut pas que quelqu’un périsse.

Si quelqu’un va en enfer, ce n’est pas parce que Dieu a voulu qu’il aille en enfer; Il a tout fait pour empêcher les hommes d’aller en enfer, et Il fera tout pour les arrêter. La seule chose est qu’Il ne peut pas décider à votre place, car Il vous a accordé un don très important: la capacité de prendre des décisions; le droit de choisir. Et dans Son amour, Il vous a dit quoi choisir en premier: la vie en Christ (1 Jean 5:11).

YOU’RE THE OBJECT OF HIS LOVE

What God cares about the most in the earth is the souls of men. The Bible says in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” He loved the world of humans, not things; we’re the object of His love. Each one of us is more important to Him than the planets and galaxies.

He’s got angels that supervise the galaxies, and angels appointed over other matters. But the angels with the most honourable job are the ones appointed over people, over the souls for whom Jesus died. When you understand this as a Christian, especially as one who heads a cell or care-group or fellowship in the local church, your premium will be on people.

You might say, “I only have three people in my fellowship!” But as small as that number might seem, you’re more important to God than the one who’s put in charge of the environment and all the infrastructure in any particular planet or continent. A cell leader in the house of God has more value in God’s book of honours than one who’s not born again but might be politically in charge of a whole nation.

Read the words of Jesus in Mark 8:36-37: “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” This means the whole world—all of the cosmos—doesn’t compare to the value of one soul. The value of a soul is the blood of Jesus.

If you were the only person on the face of the earth, Jesus would have still come to die for you. He didn’t come because we were many; He came because we were valuable to God. That’s why God isn’t willing that anyone should perish.

If anyone goes to hell, it isn’t because God wanted him or her to go to hell; He’s done everything to stop men from going to hell, and He’ll do everything to stop them. The only thing is, He can’t decide for you, because He gave you a very important gift: the ability to make decisions; the right to choose. And in His love, He went ahead to tell you what to choose: life in Christ (1 John 5:11).

Dear Father, thank you for your love that’s so real, and so divine, and by which you’ve demonstrated to me my true value through the price you paid for my salvation.
