LET’S TALK
From the anatomy of a tree, we know that its life comes from the type of seed planted to give birth to it. This means that the life which is in the root is the same as that which passes through the tree. This is why a mango tree can only produce mango fruit because it is the life of the mango that is in its seed. This is what Jesus meant in John 15: 5, Jesus said: “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. ” This is mutual housing! It's so real to God, and it must be real to you. You are not an ordinary person. The life you have in yourself now in Christ cannot be destroyed by sickness and infirmity.

Likewise, your human body can be influenced by the presence of the Holy Spirit in you. Now that you have the Holy Spirit in you, your body is literally affected by His presence. Colossians 1:27 says, “...Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Romans 8:10 also shows us the implication of Christ being in you; he said, "And if Christ is in you, though your body is dead because of sin, the Spirit gives it life because of righteousness" (paraphrased). He wants you to understand that Christ in you is not a religious statement; this is not an empty statement.

Now that Christ is in you, your body is vitalized by the Spirit! You are impregnable against diseases and infirmities. Often many of the infections that people have involve the blood; it is due to the blood life of the human body. But by being born again, your body no longer depends on blood for its life. Your body lives by the Spirit. Read our opening verse and find out who you are and what you have in Christ!

Now that you've been born again and received the Holy Ghost, you should never be sick again in your life! Refuse to surrender your body to disease. Take charge and dominate your body with the Word of God.

Peut-être vous êtes concerné par le fait que vos proches ou autres membres de votre église, communauté, cellule ou groupe dont vous vous sentez responsable, ne soient pas aussi passionnés par la croissance spirituelle et la Parole de Dieu qu’ils devraient l’être. Vous pourriez même être le leader d’un tel groupe. Là où il faut tout d’abord commencer est de vous examiner vousmême, car la faim engendre la faim. En tant que leader du groupe, à quel point votre appétit pour la Parole est vorace? Êtes-vous passionné par les choses spirituelles?

La passion est palpable et contagieuse. Ce dont vous avez faim ou qui vous passionne, va bientôt aussi se faire remarquer sur ceux qui vous entourent. N’avez-vous pas remarqué que souvent, lorsque les gens bâillent, ceux qui les entourent peuvent également commencer à bâiller? Ou une fois que quelqu’un dit: « J’ai faim »; d’autres qui sont présents et qui n’ont peut-être pas non plus mangé, deviennent immédiatement conscients de la faim.

Si vous avez un appétit vorace pour la Parole de Dieu, ceux qui vous entourent cultiveront la même faim très vite. Par conséquent, soyez le premier à être en feu. Soyez l’exemple de ce que vous voulez voir chez ceux que vous dirigez. Dirigez par l’exemple. Par exemple, ne vous contentez pas de les encourager à prier, soyez vous-même une personne qui prie.

Mais si un pasteur ne prie pas et qu’il organise des réunions de prière, il serait peut-être en train de perdre son temps, parce que ceux qui viendront se rassembler ne seront pas remplis de l’Esprit. Copiez Jésus; Son dévouement pour les Écritures et pour la prière. À Son jeune âge, la Bible dit qu’Il était dans les parvis du temple, assis parmi les enseignants, écoutant et leur posant des questions. Tous ceux qui l’ont entendu étaient étonnés de Sa compréhension et de Ses réponses (Luc 2:41-47).

La Bible nous dit aussi, «Vers le matin, pendant qu’il faisait encore très sombre, il se leva, et sortit pour aller dans un lieu désert, où il pria» (Marc 1:35). Une autre fois, « …Il se rendit sur la montagne pour prier, et il passa toute la nuit à prier Dieu » (Luc 6:12). Alors, cela doit commencer par vous. La croissance spirituelle ou numérique n’est pas un mystère, un miracle ou un hasard. C’est le résultat de l’application de principes et moyens révélés.

Cher Père, je suis ravi de toujours suivre le modèle de Christ, il est le modèle et l’exemple dans tout ce que je fais. J’imite Sa disposition envers la Parole et la prière. IT BEGINS WITH YOU

Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend (Proverbs 27:17).

The Message translation of the theme verse says, “You use steel to sharpen steel, and one friend sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17). Perhaps you’re concerned that your close friends, or others in your church, fellowship, cell or care-group aren’t as passionate about spiritual growth and God’s Word as they should be. You could even be the leader of such a group. The first place to begin is to check yourself, because hunger begets hunger. As the leader of the group, how rapacious is your appetite for the Word? How passionate are you about spiritual things?

Passion is palpable and infectious. What you’re hungry or passionate about, soon enough, will rub off on those around you. Haven’t you noticed that oftentimes, when people yawn, those around them may start yawning as well? Or once someone says, “I’m hungry”; others who are present and may also not have eaten, immediately become conscious of hunger.

If you have a ravenous appetite for God’s Word, those around you would cultivate the same hunger soon enough. Therefore, be the first to be on fire. Be the example of what you want to see in those you lead. Lead by example. For example, don’t just encourage them to pray; be a praying person yourself.

But if a pastor isn’t prayerful, and he’s calling for prayer meetings, he may be wasting his time, because those gatherings would be void of the Spirit. Copy Jesus, His devotion to the Scriptures, and to prayer. At a tender age, the Bible says He was in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening, and asking them questions. Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and His answers (Luke 2:41-47).

The Bible also tells us, “And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed” (Mark 1:35). In another instance, “…he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God” (Luke 6:12). So, it’s got to begin with you. Spiritual or numerical growth isn’t a mystery, a miracle or an accident. It’s the application of revealed principles and means.

CONFESSION

LET’S TALK
In Matthew 12:43-44, Jesus gives us a clarification, which in a sense describes the condition of one who does not have the Holy Spirit. He said, “When an unclean spirit goes out from someone, it goes through dry places, seeking rest, and it does not find it. Then he said: I will return to the house from which I came out; and, when he arrives, he finds it empty, swept and adorned ”(NIV).

The one who is born again but has not received the Holy Spirit has his “spirit” swept and adorned, but empty! As a result, he quickly falls into temptations and into sin. He would be unable to control his sensual appetites or refrain from harm. It is only by the Holy Spirit that you put to death the desires of the body and its carnal desires. “If you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live ”(Romans 8:13).

It is impossible to live the true Christian life without the Holy Spirit; in fact, what you will have cannot be qualified as Christian Life. The Holy Spirit is the essence and the glory of Christianity. You could not know God or love Jesus without the Holy Spirit. Christians who do not have the Holy Spirit are vulnerable to Satan, his attacks, his maneuvers and his manipulations.

Without the Holy Spirit you cannot have the character of Christ. Jesus had to have the Holy Spirit. The apostles had to have the HolySpirit, life without the HolySpirit is empty. If you have not received the HolySpirit, receive Him immediately. Just say, “HolyGhost, I receive you into my heart now in Jesus Christ's Name,” Amen.

NOUS CROYONS ET PARLONS

Et comme nous avons le même esprit de foi exprimé dans cette parole de l’écriture: j’ai cru c’est pourquoi j’ai parlé! Nous aussi nous croyons, et c’est pour cela que nous parlons (2 Corinthiens 4:13).

Beaucoup lisent notre verset d’ouverture comme si nous parlons pour croire, mais ce n’est pas le cas. Lorsque nous confessons la Parole, ce n’est pas pour que nous puissions enfin croire ce que nous disons. Lisez ce qu’il dit: ‘‘Nous avons le même esprit de foi, selon qu’il est écrit, j’ai cru, et c’est pourquoi j’ai parlé; nous aussi nous croyons, et c’est pour cela que nous parlons». C’est le principe de l’esprit de foi: la foi agit de l’intérieur vers l’extérieur, et non l’inverse.

Nous parlons parce que nous avons cru. En fait, le verset d’ouverture se lit ainsi, «Nous, ayant le même esprit de foi, selon qu’il est écrit, J’ai la foi, c’est pourquoi j’ai parlé; nous aussi avons la foi, et donc nous parlons.» Donc, nous parlons selon notre foi. Quand je parle, c’est ma foi qui parle.

Cela nous rappelle l’histoire des deux aveugles que Jésus a guéris dans Matthieu 9. Ils s’écrièrent: « Toi, Fils de David, aie pitié de nous. » Alors Jésus leur a demandé: « Croyez-vous vraiment que je peux faire cela? » Ils ont dit: « Oui, Maître! Puis Il toucha leurs yeux et dit: «… qu’il vous soit fait selon votre foi». La Bible nous dit: « Et leurs yeux s’ouvrirent…» (Matthieu 9:30). Pourquoi? C’est parce qu’ils avaient la foi et l’ont vocalisée.

La foi s’exprime principalement par des paroles et la Bible nous fait savoir que nous avons tous la foi. Si nous n’avions pas la foi, cela aurait été un problème, mais nous l’avons; Il nous l’a donné comme Paul l’a dit dans Romains 12: 3, «Par la grâce qui m’a été donnée, je dis à chacun de vous… selon la mesure de foi que Dieu a départie à chacun. » C’est la foi avec laquelle vous avez cru en Jésus-Christ; et cette foi parle.

Contrôlez et dominez le monde; règnez sur les circonstances par vos proclamations de foi. Ne vous lamentez pas à cause d’un problème; ne vous plaignez de rien; prononcez des paroles de foi. Peut-être avez-vous rencontré des défis dans votre travail ou votre entreprise; parlez et effectuez un changement! Jésus a dit que vous aurez ce que vous dites. Votre bénédiction est dans votre bouche. Déclarez uniquement et toujours la victoire, et c’est ce que vous expérimenterez.

WE BELIEVE AND SPEAK

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak (2 Corinthians 4:13).

Many read our opening verse as though we speak so that we will believe, but it’s not so. The confessions of the Word that we make aren’t so that we can finally believe what we’re saying. Read what it says: “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.” That’s the principle of the spirit of faith: Faith works from inside out, not the other way round.

We speak because we have believed. In fact, the opening verse actually reads, “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I have faith, therefore have I spoken; we also have faith, and therefore speak.” We speak according to our faith. When I speak, it’s my faith talking.

It brings to mind the story in Matthew 9 of the two blind men that Jesus healed. They cried out, “Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.” Jesus asked them, “Do you really believe I can do this?” They said, “Yes, Master!” Then He touched their eyes and said, “… According to your faith be it unto you” (Matthew 9:29). The Bible says, “And their eyes were opened…” (Matthew 9:30). Why? It’s because they had faith and they vocalized it.

Faith is expressed primarily through words, and the Bible lets us know that we all have faith. If we didn’t have faith, it would have been a problem, but we have it; He gave it to us as Paul said in Romans 12:3, “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you…according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” That’s the faith with which you believed in Jesus Christ, and that faith speaks.

Tame and rule the world; reign over circumstances through your faith proclamations. Don’t cry because of any problem; don’t gripe over anything; speak words of faith. Perhaps you’ve been experiencing challenges in your job or business; speak and effect a change! Jesus said you shall have what you say (Mark 11:23). Your blessing is in your mouth. Declare victory only and always, and that’ll be your experience.

Say these with me, 'I know who I am! I am the effulgence of God’s glory; the radiance of His grace and beauty! I am anointed with the Holy Ghost; anointed to decipher between light and darkness, and I am deeply rooted in the Word of truth. I can never be deceived, because I dwell in the light. I am an associate of the God-kind and a member of the assembly of the saints in light! My life is garnished by the Spirit of God; for I am the workmanship of God in Christ Jesus, created unto good works.

Daily, I reign in life as a king and rule over all circumstances.
