When you get up every morning, do you think about doing something special for God? If yes, then whatever it is should be the most important thing that you'll do that day. But, if your answer is no, it’s time you made a change. For example, saying your prayers in the morning must be a priority.

So, start out today to reach out to someone with the message of salvation. This is God’s number one job and should be your priority.

As God's child, your words are anointed with power. Whatever you say in faith will come to pass. This is why you can't be a victim in life.

The Lord Jesus, while on earth, lived in victory and dominion over everything He faced. He lives in you today through the Holy Spirit; therefore, refuse to be a victim; rather, take charge of the situations around you with your words of faith and change things around you.

Everyone has the ability to be kind and compassionate, especially God’s children. Through the Holy Spirit, God’s liquid love has been shed abroad in our hearts (Romans 5:5).

The Lord Jesus, while on earth, was full of compassion and kindness. He never turned away anyone in genuine need, and there was no one He couldn't love.

Like the Lord Jesus, let the love of God in you flow freely as you show kindness and compassion to those in need of it.

A lot of people worry and fear about their future. As God's child, you shouldn't be this way. According to today’s opening scripture, God has great plans for your future!

Therefore, don’t let what anyone says to you or what you see on TV get you worried about your future. God has already declared in His Word that it can only get better and bright for you with each day. Everything about your future is already perfected (Psalm 138:8). Glory to His Name forever!

KEEP YOUR WELLS CLEAN

Now the Philistines had stopped up all the wells which his father’s servants had dug in the days of Abraham his father, and they had filled them with earth. Genesis 26:15

Yesterday, we learnt about the wells of salvation in you. Like every well, you need to keep yours from getting blocked. In Old Testament Bible days, it was common for the enemies of God's children to clog their wells and stop them from getting water (Genesis 26:15,18).

Like the enemies clogged those wells, the devil tries to clog the wells of salvation in God's people through bitterness, lying and bad habits. You mustn't let this happen. How? It’s by staying in God’s Word through constant meditation and praying in other tongues. This is how to keep your wells clean.

THE WELLS IN YOU

Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:3

Inside you are wells. I’m not talking about a physical well people draw water from but this is in your spirit. It is what the Bible refers to “the wells of salvation” (Isaiah 12:3).

Right in your spirit are all the good things of the kingdom of God. That means wells of joy, success, health, progress, love, peace and all the blessings of the new creation are in your spirit. Isn't that great?

Therefore, draw from the wells of salvation in your spirit, as you speak them forth every day.

Habakkuk was in a desperate situation. lt seemed like everywhere he turned, nothing was going right. However, he didn’t let that rob him of his joy.

You may be in a situation that’s got you feeling sad. Don’t stay down and blue; get up and rejoice. Remember, the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and when you praise God, miracles always happen.

Speaking in tongues is an advantage to every child of God. When you speak in tongues often, you'll walk in the power of God. Speaking in tongues helps you stir up the power of the Holy Spirit within you. It's at such times you’ re filled with boldness to do great things.

When the disciples had gathered together at the upper room, they were waiting for the promise of the Holy Spirit. As soon as they received Him and were filled, they spoke the Word of God with boldness. That’s what speaking in other tongues does for you. It gets you filled with the Spirit! Therefore, make it a habit to speak in tongues much more from today.

THE LORD; YOUR SHIELD

Our opening scripture was God's declaration of Himself to Abraham. What He was telling him was that He’s his protection and guide, and nothing can harm him. It’s like the shields soldiers used in the past to go to war. With them, they protected themselves from the enemy’s attack.

God wants you to know that He’s your shield. He protects, guides, and guards you against anything that would want to harm you.

This is why you should always be full of courage and unafraid, for the great God of glory is your Protector and Shield
