Hezbollah announced last tonight that one of its operatives, Qassem Badr a-Din, known as al-Sayyid Jawad, had died as a result of a "health condition".

Badr a-Din, 38, a resident of the village of Kharouf in southern Lebanon, suffered a heart attack in the middle of a soccer game. Aside from being a Hezbollah fighter, Badr a-Din was one of Hezbollah's "social network officers", operating its telegram channels and promoting the organization's propaganda on other social platforms. He was also a graphic designer, which helped him in his activities online.

Since he died during a non-military activity he does not get the honor of being called a "martyr". That title doesn't appear next to his name in most publications about his death. Open / Comment
