The first round of strengthening the defense powers of the Farsite interstellar community is over! Producing high-tech weaponry for space fleets is not an easy task - it is a contest. And today we’re glad to announce the winners. Those travelers, who took the task which is not for the fainthearted, and successfully accomplished it.

During the last week, a total of 188 Weapon Modules have been produced. The whole Farsite community is grateful to you, you are the true masters of tech and steel. Apart from gratitude, you will be rewarded to the fullest as promised. The rewards will find their pilots within the next 10 days.

But there’s no time for long celebrations. Comets are approaching, who knows what mysteries and dangers they may conceal. Open / Comment

A number of Comets approaching our galaxies. Despite the rarity and potential risks, the amount of resources hidden under their surfaces makes it all worth it.

2022-10-25 00:09:13 To ensure the defense capabilities of the interstellar community and initiate the process of supplying the market with high-end ammunition, scientists are launching the first production contest.

Those producers, who will manufacture the most weapon-type – Artillery, Missile, Laser – Modules during the period from Oct 24 to Oct 31, will be rewarded according to the number of Contest points. Each Weapon Module of size S brings 1 point, and M-size brings 3.

A series of Contests to be held in the Farsite Universe starting from the Weapons Production Contest this week.

For the last couple of months, the community of travelers has been focusing on equipping their Ships with the most cost-effective Modules, mostly ignoring defense systems. This state of affairs can possibly lead to some tragic scenarios, which are desired to be prevented. Open / Comment

2022-10-20 12:27:47 What we can tell for sure at the moment is that a number of Comets are fast approaching NIX and CETO constellations with extremely rare Minerals of some uncertain nature. Along with that, as the latest data shows - most travelers are not prepared to face any enemies, as many people reasonably equipped their Ships with mining Modules and Radars, completely losing sight of any arms for combats.

Scientists have decided to launch a production contest to motivate travelers to shift some of their manufacturing lines to weaponry suppling the market with attack Modules.

Those producers who will manufacture the most weapon-type – Artillery, Missile, Laser – Modules within the week starting October 24, will be rewarded with Alpha Crates, rare Module Blueprints, and precious Credits in various amounts.

While the darker times are looming scientists have received a disturbing signal indicating a huge explosion in the nearest galaxy. It is not yet clear what is going on, but something is boiling in the deep darkness of space. Open / Comment

2022-10-04 23:30:40 Market Orders will be introduced be the end of October to allow players create delivery missions for Resources and Components to be hauled on Sectors and Stations. Not only that will help new Pilots to define certain goals based on actual demand, but also maintain stock in production facilities to focus on achieving results building rare and legendary Ships and Modules. It's better to be well prepared for the upcoming massive sink with fights in Beta!

The first price adjustment will occur on October 5th at 5 PM UTC, increasing all Cases by 20%. The starting price for the basic Case therefore will be 0.46 ETH.

2022-10-04 23:30:40 Credit Cases Prices Adjustment in 24 Hours

As the 2 significant events - the FAR token mint and the Credits Bridge - are approaching, the price for Cases in the Credits distribution event will increase every next week.

Being the only currency in the universe of Farsite, Credits are required for nearly all in-game operations. After the Bridge launch on November 28 players will be able to mint FAR in 1:1000 ratio and trade Credits in the form of ERC-20 tokens on popular exchanges. Open / Comment
