Be careful about your focus as some people start to worry when your telling them about how things can be. Mental health is everyone's business but what you can't control or workout may not be the same as the other person.
This is why it can be difficult to open up. Understanding what it is and what has been seen into before Is important.
So pretend your a the cat and you have a beautiful butterfly on your nose.
Thinking of this can help your mental health because you have been able to focus on this picture and message.

Conversation we need to have with each other

Sometimes, reaching out and taking someone's hand is the beginning of a journey. At other times, it is allowing another to take yours.

One of the common issues faced by people with mental health disorders is not being heard or understood. Being able to understand what someone else is going through is a difficult feat for most people who are not sufferers themselves, from their daily discomforts to the inconveniences they face. At best, we sympathise and feel for them, providing a listening ear and a comforting presence.

What else can we do to support those facing mental health struggles?

Have you ever wondered who my be out there to give you hand. Helping you with your thoughts. Even just having a conversation with some is enough to break the cycle of being alone and depressed. You might even find out that they may experience the same thing. So today, make it a day to think about your mental health and shine a light on it to view it different for a little while. It might just lift the cloud away for a moment.

Huddlehumans Founder, Viaano Spruyt, on today's front page of Singapore's Straits Times Newspaper (Life section).

At the age of 17, Viaano was turned away by a doctor when he was seeking help regarding his mental health experiences.

"Imagine being pushed away after you've got up the courage to seek help".

Viaano goes on to share about his personal mental health struggles with anxiety, which ultimately led to the creation of Huddlehumans back in 2017.

Stress activates the body’s adaptive fight-or-flight response of the sympathetic nervous system which responds to “danger”.

When we are experiencing stress, our heart rate increases which may make some of us feel like we’re going to faint or have a panic attack.

However, our heart rate increases to ensure adequate blood supply to our muscles to prepare our bodies in the event that running away from danger is necessary.

These physiological changes in our bodies are temporary, and will leave once we think that we are out of “danger”. Though this may sound simple, it is the main stumbling block that keeps us stressed. Why is that so?
