Calling all those living in Tasmania, Australia!

We want to introduce the MATES program to you by the Australian Red Cross!

The MATES program matches eligible people with a trained volunteer to get together weekly or fortnightly to participate in social activities such as outings to cafes, footy, or just going for a walk, amongst many others fun activities!

Not only that, if you feel you are better suited to be a volunteer - well you can! Volunteering is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the life of someone in your community.

This program is for:
People who are not in regular contact with people
Experiencing mental health concerns
Experiencing loneliness or feel isolated
Would like to work towards developing valuable networks in their community
