Interesting that we can focus on our mistakes, what we do, our mental health and our thoughts but as you can see they don't really define who you are.
Have a look at the things that actually define us and find hope in your ability to see who you are.
We have many gifts and talents that make us different but we can shine in these to help one another.
So don't be defined by your mental health and start living today. W

2021-03-28 21:33:58 Ten powerful techniques to protect memory

1: Be aware that sooner or later frustrations will occur no matter how good the relationships are.

2: Donate without waiting for a return.

3: Develop tolerance in the fullest sense, understanding that behind a person who hurts us there is always someone hurt.

Who gives more discount to others is happier and healthier.

4: Don't overcharge others.

Those who overcharge plant killer windows that block the creativity of the people around them.

5: Don't overcharge yourself.

Those who charge too much of themselves sabotage their happiness, register traumatic windows that increase the number of demands to be happy, fulfilled, satiated.

He becomes an executioner for himself.

6: Understand that forgiving is an attribute of the strong. Whoever forgives easily protects the memory.

Never forget that forgiveness is not a heroic act, but an intelligent act by someone who seeks to understand what is behind the behavior of others, including their stupidity, arrogance and mistakes.

7: Judge less and embrace more.

8: Do not take life by fire and iron, nor be guided by the "hit took" phenomenon. Attacking those who attack us feeds violence.

9: protect the emotion. Do not let it become "no man's land", which can be invaded by any criticism, loss or frustration.

10: Cultivate a free and mature mind capable of caring for the landscape of the soils of memory.

Do you cultivate it? The vast majority of people live naively, in the bad sense of the word.

2021-03-25 05:42:00 Importance of Trigger Warnings in Huddlehumans

What is a trigger?
A trigger is a stimulus, such as a smell, sound or sight. These stimuli are able to trigger feelings of trauma, or a previously experienced event that was terrifying and/or incredibly stressful.

Some examples of trauma could include experiencing or witnessing death, serious injuries, sexual abuse such as rape, physical abuse, family violence, and many more.

To summarize:

- Triggers are a reminder of a past trauma

- Triggers can cause a person to feel anxiety, overwhelming emotions, panic, vivid flashbacks (yes, even just by reading your content).

- Trigger warnings let people avoid or prepare themselves ahead for triggers.

All in all, trigger warning is a notice that there might be potential triggers in the terrifying experience that you are trying to explain. We are not preventing you from writing out what you feel or need help with, but you really never know how you might trigger someone else when writing out your experience.

So please include a simple trigger warning template as the one depicted below:

-Start-

Trigger warning
(Type of Content)

(Empty Spaces)

(Your experience)

(More empty spaces)

-End-

And that's it! Simple as that. Let us all continue to stay mindful of each other's mental health and make this a better community.

Keep huddling,
- The Huddlehumans Team

Is there anything you can let go?
What do you value that you need to keep?
Have you done a mental check to what really matters?
Give yourself permission to go through things in your life and make some decisions of whether what counts is doing you justice.
It is ok to let go and just watch how you feel when you do.
Do you feel lighter?
Has the pressure been taken off?
How has your hold of the subject given you space?
Ask yourself if you can do this more often?
Then look at your mental health and has this been benefitted from this process. Give it a go and feel like this feather and start to float... W
