Just a reminder to everyone that we’re all doing everything we can to stay alive. If things get too hard, it’s okay. Be kind to yourselves and take it one task at a time. Even if it means having to learn how to roll out of bed first, before we can start running full speed again.

A big thanks to huddler R R who shared this image with us, after seeing our post on The Spoon Theory. This is a great helpful infographic that visualizes The Spoon Theory in a really nice way.

2021-05-25 22:24:33 Today, I'd like to share a story with you all. I did not write it, but its lesson is so powerful. Each day we have a certain amount of energy to work with, and when you have an invisible illness, mental or physical, it can be hard to tell others in a way that is easily understandable. This is where Spoon Theory comes in.

The Spoon Theory is a short story that helps explain to others what it's like to have an invisible illness. I share this when people enter my life and I need to explain about my own issues. Perhaps this will also help some of you explain to the people in your life as well.

2021-05-24 07:55:07 Hello Huddlers!

We at Huddlehumans want to take this opportunity to thank you for being part of our community. We value and cherish every one of you, and you are all here as equals with us.

We also want to take this moment to remind you of a few points.

(1) Huddlehumans prides itself on being a peer support group. A place where individuals can share their experiences, find a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, or a warm virtual hug when one is needed. What we are not is a professional group, or a group that can help find permanent solutions or cures. Everyone, admins/mods and members alike, are peers and are equal in our eyes.

(2) It's important to respect the group, its members and its mods. We ask that you do not tag individual people (including both members and admins) asking for responses, but instead share openly in the safe environment we work to provide; those who read your words can decide if they can or want to respond at that time.

(3) It's important to be familiar with the protocols we have in place, to help keep Huddlehumans running smoothly, and keep it a kind, friendly space where we are free to share. This means understanding our rules, our vision, and our procedures. This includes being familiar with how to appropriately use trigger warnings or how to report rule violations. If you have any questions about these, you can find information here: https://t.me/huddlehumansofficial/6

Again, thank you all for being part of this community. We would be nothing without you, and we want you to know how much you are all appreciated.

2021-05-23 05:49:29 Flow with life, enjoy the journey, have fun, fall in love with what comes, thank for what is left, learn and say goodbye to what needs to go. Just as we are not concerned with the functioning of the autonomous organs of our body, we must learn to let people, feelings and events flow. For NOTHING IS PERMANENT, except change. When we understand the fleeting nature of things, we avoid certain unnecessary suffering and are able to live the transience of the world with greater benefit.

YOU ARE HERE TO BE HAPPY, regardless of who goes and who stays in your life.

2021-05-22 13:24:10 Problems are not pleasurable, but they are signs of life and evolution. Only there are no problems - in this world - who no longer breathes.

All people face problems on a daily basis. It's not just me or just you.

It is not easy to take responsibility for the problem, or accept it. It may even be that sometimes, you were not the one who created it directly. But, if it is in your life, it is yours.

That means saying the solution too! That is, you have the power to change the problem you are facing, even if part of it

2021-05-21 03:27:36 What are you so afraid of ???

Fear is the root of everything. Fear is one of the roots of anxiety. And every human being is born with 3 types of fear: fear of being changed and humiliated, fear of losing the status quo and fear of losing control.

The fear of being exchanged or humiliated is the fear of not being recognized, valued by people. It appears mainly in children who have been compared to siblings, friends, cousins or close people.

The fear of losing the status quo is the fear that prevents you from changing anything in your life. Career, an abusive relationship, failure to communicate with the partner, undertake and make more money. Dare and risk it. These children received loss-oriented messages from their parents, which makes the child choose to preserve, limit himself and close himself.

The fear of losing control is also a fear that prevents you from making significant changes in your life and relationships. It is a fear of what may happen if you change or do something different. If things continue as they are, good or bad, at least it is already a known sensation, which gives an illusion of control.‌‌
