concert) because what we see at home on our TV and computer screen is better.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays going out to enjoy live performances, such as shows and
concerts, has become redundant since watching them on TV or a
computer is more comfortable. While visiting show or concert venues offers a great experience, I believe that conveniences of TV and the quality of computer screens make them better options.

There are two main reasons why some think that we should go and
watch live performances on the spot. One of them is that when you visit a pavilion of a show to watch it, you will feel the atmosphere created to entertain you. It is audience who applaud and cheer that make you vibe into the show. Another reason is that going out to see live performarces enables you to spend your time with full excitement. For example, if you take a ticket to a live concert, you wait for that impatiently. When the time comes, you may enjoy the concert to the fullest. This is because you can sing and dance along with your favorite singer for hours without a stop.

However, I believe that watching performances on TV or a computer is much better for two reasons. Firstly, this option can allow you to watch these live concerts or shows with your loved ones. Gathering together around the table and putting a live performance on TV is much easier than persuading everyone to go out with you. Secondly, the format is much clear and enjoyable on computer screens. The reason for this is that live performances are broadcast using state-of-the-art cameras and
the capacity of computer screen is hign enough to show every detail to
you.

In conclusion, although attending shows and concerts to see them right on the stage seems better, I tend to think that what TV and computer screens can offer makes them a better choice. Open / Comment

2022-04-01 07:01:59 Developments in every aspect of our lives brought about many changes and new cultures. We have got accustomed to just getting rid of things we have done using without thinking about potentially negative consequences. Even worse, we no longer want to use our gadgets as soon as new ones come out. This poses a question: should we fight or hold on to this throw-away culture?

The first text mentions the fact that most people damp their waste, some of which are recyclable. Therefore, people are being encouraged to sort their waste out into different categories, one of which is recyclables. Although many people are following this and trying to recycle, this does not mean that we are mitigating the effects of our actions on the environment. The reason for this is that huge quantities of plastic bottles and packages are still ending up in the ocean, damaging the ecosystem of marines.

The second text stresses our tendency to buy a new mobile phone, despite having one that is working perfectly. This is mainly caused by the manipulative techniques that tech companies use to advertise their products. They are creating a culture in which people always yearn for the latest versions of phones. Our willingness and preference to buy new gadgets are also leading these companies to do everything in their power to produce technologies that are better than their predecessors. In order not fall behind and keep up with the times, we are thowing our old gadgets away, which is a change for the worse.

All things considered, I believe that more should be done to find a way to deal with non-biodegradable waste so that they will not end up in the ocean. Also, however appealing it is to use the latest technology, we should try change our behavior and become more aware of our actions. Open / Comment
