2022-04-17 15:03:03 The SNP is always quick to try and take the moral high ground, attacking other parties with accusations of sleaze and misconduct.

But yet again we are seeing SNP MPs being investigated for misconduct. This time sexual in nature.

Both Patricia Gibson, an SNP MP in Ayrshire, and Patrick Grady, an SNP MP for Glasgow North, have had complaints of sexual harassment towards young SNP staff at Westminster upheld by an independent Westminster committee.

But both the MPs seem determined to carry on in their positions and the SNP have not done the decent thing and by at least suspending them. It also appears that the SNP care nothing about their young staff members who are being harrassed by senior MPs. The SNP really are, it appears, the party of sleaze, with no moral compass

The last few weeks have seen another ex-SNP MSP, Natalie McGarry, in court over fraud allegations. There are also other ongoing fraud investigations concerning the SNP. Are these people really fit to run our country? It appears not Open / Comment

Labour MSP Jackie Baillie, who has twice been their interim leader but never given the top job, has been greeting on Twitter.

Our local activists delivered leaflets raising awareness about our demographic replacement as part of our nationwide campaign.

Yet Red Jackie takes it as a personal attack on her BAME friend who turns out to be the Labour Party local election candidate in the area. Oh the irony!

2022-04-17 11:50:48 On this day in 617 Saint Donnan of Eigg and up to 50 of his followers were killed in a raid on his settlement on the Isle of Eigg

Saint Donnán of Eigg,also known as Donan;was a Gaelic priest, likely from Ireland, who attempted to introduce Christianity to the Picts of northwestern Scotland during the Early Middle Ages. Donnán is the patron saint of Eigg, an island in the Inner Hebrides where he was martyred.

The Martyrology of Donegal, compiled by Michael O'Clery in the 17th century, records the manner of his death:
"Donnan, of Ega, Abbott. Ega [Eigg] is the name of an island in which he was, after his coming from Erin [Ireland]. And there came robbers of the sea on a certain time to the island when he was celebrating mass. He requested of them not to kill him until he should have the mass said, and they gave him this respite; and he was afterwards beheaded and fifty-two of his monks along with him. And all their names are in a certain old book of the old books of Erin, A.D.616." Open / Comment

2022-04-16 10:45:21 On a day when Scots should be remembering and being educated by the media on our history around the 1745 Jacobite rising and the crackdown on the Scotttish clans and culture after the defeat at Culloden, it appears that the Scottish media would rather use the day to yet again attack the indigenous population of Scotland.

They would rather publish stories about how defeated Jacobites allegedly became slave owners than tell the story of the many Jacobites who were persecuted after the defeat at Culloden, or the laws brought in to destroy the Scottish clan system.

The mainstream media are the enemy of the Scottish people and our heritage. Open / Comment

2022-04-16 10:42:51 Glasgow City Council and its arms-length company Glasgow Life which runs the newly refurbished Burrell Collection in the South Side of Glasgow have moved to use their exhibits to promote transgender rights.

While a museum is there to educate, the education should not be political. But we are seeing an increasing use of public collections to promote trans, LGBT, Black Lives Matter etc agendas and attack the history of our country.

Glasgow Life has had ongoing programs to 'research' LBGT, slavery-linked and colonial items in its collections. So, sadly, when you go to a Glasgow museum in the future you will probably be bombarded more and more with a woke anti-White agenda. Open / Comment

2022-04-16 10:27:43 On this day in 1746 the Battle of Culloden took place. It was the final battle of the 1745 Jacobite rising and led to the final defeat of the Jacobite forces.

the Jacobite army of Charles Edward Stuart was decisively defeated by a British government force under Prince William Augustus, Duke of Cumberland, on Drummossie Moor near Inverness in the Scottish Highlands. It was the last pitched battle fought on British soil.

The battle lasted only an hour, with the Jacobites suffering a bloody defeat; between 1,500 and 2,000 Jacobites were killed or wounded,while about 300 government soldiers were killed or wounded. While perhaps 5,000-6,000 Jacobites remained in arms in Scotland, the leadership took the decision to disperse, effectively ending the rising.

The defeat led to the destruction of the Scottish clan system due to repression and laws aimed to that end. Open / Comment
