West of Scotland based activists delivered around 300 leaflets this morning in Dumbarton.

As well as getting a good morning walk, we helped spread awareness of the demographic decline of the native people and culture. Every little helps so get active and play your part.

Sturgeon attacks the plans to send some migrants to Rwanda. She claims its a stunt to distract people from Boris Johnson's COVID fine problems. Maybe she is right given the timing of the announcement. But it still stands that Sturgeon's main problem with the plan is that she wants more migrants for Scotland, not ones being sent away.

The SNP would be happy to take in these migrants. They already in the past tried to float an idea where migrants who didn't meet a points system for "asylum" in England would come here. Sturgeon and her SNP/Green cabal really don't care what dregs they allow into our nation as long as they can bring large amounts of migrants in. The SNP and the Greens are a danger to the future of our nation and must be stopped.

Blackford is one of the SNP cabal that is determined to flood Scotland with immigrants. He is also a millionaire who claims to be "one of the people" but lives a very privileged life far removed from those who will be affected by his plans for Scotland.

The plan to send asylum seekers abroad for processing is a reasonable one. In fact in its present form it does not go far enough. To begin with it will only apply to single migrants crossing the English channel. It should be extended to everyone arriving in the UK.

It would also be part of the plan that, if they receive asylum, that asylum should be in Rwanda. This of course will also aid Rwanda itself, with money from the UK being transferred to Rwanda, and since we are constantly being told by supporters of immigration that migrants bring many benefits to their host nations, Rwanda would of course receive all the benefits of becoming a multicultural nation. Or do those benefits only happen to White nations?

On this day in 1582 King James VI granted a Royal charter for Edinburgh to establish a college.

It officially opened in 1583, it is one of Scotland's four ancient universities and the sixth-oldest university in continuous operation in the English-speaking world. The university played an important role in Edinburgh becoming a chief intellectual centre during the Scottish Enlightenment and contributed to the city being nicknamed the "Athens of the North".

Named Tounis College (Town's College), the university opened its doors to students on 14 October 1583, with an attendance of 80–90.At the time, the college mainly covered liberal arts and divinity.Instruction began under the charge of a graduate from the University of St Andrews, theologian Robert Rollock, who first served as Regent, and from 1586 as principal of the college. Initially Rollock was the sole instructor for first-year students. The first cohort finished their studies in 1587, and 47 students graduated with an M.A. degree.

Derek Mackay, who was a SNP MSP for Renfrewshire and finance minister, was suspended from the SNP in 2020 over his behaviour including grooming a 16-year-old boy. He sat as a independent MSP until losing his seat.

He is now back in the Scottish political arena and is networking with his former colleagues who appear to have no issue with accepting him back into the fold.

What kind of political elite do we have in Scotland that would accept Mackay, a man who harrasses and attempts to groom young men using his influential position, to work with them again?

How can we trust these people to run our country and look after out children's future when they appear to find this man's actions acceptable to some degree. After this and the recent debacle over the sexual health census that the Scottish Government attempted to make the children of Scotland fill out, you have to wonder what the morals of the people running our nation are.

On this day in 1719 a force of Spanish marines and Jacobites landed in Loch Alsh and set up base in Eiliean Donnan Castle as part of the 1719 Jacobite rising.. they were commanded by George Keith ,pictured above.

The Scottish landing left Pasajes on 8 March, accompanied by 300 Spanish marines aboard two frigates. They landed at Stornoway in the Isle of Lewis, where they were joined by a group of exiles from France

Some wanted to wait until they heard from troops that were to invade England. Which failed to happen. while Keith urged capturing Inverness before the garrison was warned. His view prevailed; on 13 April, they landed at Loch Alsh

Left with few options, the Jacobites marched on Inverness, with around 1,000 men, including 400 Mackenzies, 150 Camerons, the Spaniards and other small groups. Having brought arms and ammunition for 2,000, the excess was stored at Eilean Donan, guarded by 40 Spanish marines. The rising of course ended in Failure sterling the battle of Glen Shiel on the way to Inverness.

2022-04-12 16:13:32 The Sudanese asylum seeker who murdered six people in Glasgow in June 2020 had wanted to return home. He made more than 70 calls to the Home Office and others in the lead up to the attack.

"The Home Office review, leaked to the BBC, also found Adam had complained to staff in the hotel and was in touch with the Home Office about an assisted voluntary return to his home country."

Not only do the British Government make it far too easy for these economic migrants to enter the UK, they appear to be making it difficult for them to leave.

Patriotic Alternative's 20 point plan includes an assisted voluntary return initiative as part of our strategy to address mass immigration problems.

If anyone has time they should respond to this effort. The consultation closes tomorrow.

Currently there is no way for constituents to remove from the Scottish Parliament an MSP who does not attend for 6 months without a good reason. Westminster does have such a procedure.

The proposed legislation is named after Derek Mackay, the SNP MSP and finance minister, who who groomed a 16-year-old boy. Mackay disappeared from view but refused to resign, carrying on as a MSP and picking up his salary for nearly a further year after being expelled from the SNP.

The public need robust measures to be able to remove MSPs who do not live up to their duty. In fact 6 months is probably too long and there should be other reasons and measures added for removing underperforming politicians.

Of course most of our present MSPs and MPs deserve removed from office for incompetence

On this day in 1567 James Hepburn 4th Earl of Bothwell went on trial in Edinburgh over allegations he was responsible for the murder of Queen Mary's consort Lord Darnley.

In February 1567, Lord Darnley. Darnley's father, the Earl of Lennox, and other relatives agitated for vengeance and the Privy Council began proceedings against Bothwell on 12 April 1567. Sir William Drury reported to Sir William Cecil, Secretary of State to Elizabeth I of England, that the Queen was in continuous ill-health "for the most part either melancholy or sickly". On the appointed day Bothwell rode magnificently down the Canongate, with the Earl of Morton and William Maitland of Lethington flanking him, and his Hepburns trotting behind. The trial lasted from noon till seven in the evening. Bothwell was acquitted

The next Wednesday, the Queen rode to the Estates of Parliament, with Lord Bothwell carrying the Sceptre, where the proceedings of Bothwell's trial were officially declared to be just according to the law of the land
