As part of SPIEF 2021, a panel session “Immunization as an investment attraction point: how will the pandemic change the vaccine development market as a whole?” was held at the venue of the Drug Security Forum.

According to analysts from Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse, the future coronavirus vaccine market may be worth over USD 10 billion a year. It is too early to forecast income from new vaccines, or to assess the impact the pandemic had on the vaccine market as a whole. However, regardless of whether the pandemic will impact only the current state of the vaccine market or will drive global changes in the future, COVID-19 provided the stimulus for opening new horizons in research and development.

More than 90 speakers took part in the discussions of the forum, more than 40 companies presented their stands at the exhibition, more than 2300 people attended the event from 11 to 13 June.

As part of the business programme of the forum, a number of expert discussions were held on:
- “Gastronomic tourism. New Directions";
- “Camping. Practice of outdoor recreation";
- “How Russian regions can tell about themselves. Film tourism as a unique communication tool”;
- “Autotourism in Russia. Phenomenon 2020" and others.

“The Forum “Travel” has turned out well. The unexpected format and combination of seemingly incongruous audiences - business and direct consumers - turned out to be quite working. And there was not enough time to discuss all of the topics. And this means that it should be continued,” said Maya Lomidze, executive director of the Association of Tour Operators.

At the plenary session"Russia and the world: the younger generation responding to global challenges" Russian and foreign students talked about the role they have to play in solving pressing social and economic problems.

The results of the discussion were summed up by the moderator - Aide to the President of the Russian Federation Andrei Fursenko, emphasizing the special role of the younger generation in responding to global challenges we are about to face in the future.

2021-06-15 13:15:37 Czech Republic opens entry into the country for EU residents vaccinated with "Sputnik V"

Citizens of Slovakia, Hungary and Serbia, vaccinated with the Russian drug, will be able to visit the Czech Republic without quarantine and passing tests, said the head of the national health ministry Adam Vojtech.

“Those citizens of Slovakia, Hungary and Serbia who were vaccinated with Sputnik V or Sinopharm vaccines will be able to come to the Czech Republic without having to undergo quarantine and without tests,” he said.

The new rules come into force on June 21 and allow citizens of EU countries to visit the republic who have confirmation of a fully vaccinated person, they have suffered from a coronavirus disease or negative test results.

Our project promotes tourism, cultural, economic and industrial potential of the Russian regions.”

We have already visited 6 different regions and most recently returned from the Russian Far East, where we witnessed historical launch of a Soyuz rocket with 36 satellites on board from the Vostochny cosmodrome on May 28.
