Drug Security Forum
12 panel sessions and the widest range of issues: improvement of the drug procurement system, implementation of digital technologies in medicine, improvement of accessibility of medicines, etc. The forum has developed practical proposals for the pharmaceutical industry evolvement and the innovations implementation.

Creative Business Forum
30 plenary sessions on different trends in the creative industries: global competition, Russia's creative industry potential, risks and barriers, educational aspects, technology development and legal regulation.

SPIEF Junior
200 school pupils from all over Russia and their peers from Qatar held 25 business sessions. They presented their opinions on "adult" social and economic topics. More than 100 Russian and foreign distinguished speakers took part in the Forum events, including representatives of the USA, Germany, and Argentina.

Healthcare
Experts discussed the resilience of the industry in the face of extraordinary challenges, as well as the necessary measures to achieve the national goal of increasing the life expectancy of Russians.

2021-06-09 21:17:48 The crew of the Russian icebreaker rescued a puppy lost in the Arctic ice. The puppy ran away from its owners a week ago and was found a few kilometers away from its home in the village of Cape Kamenny. The puppy is now safe and its health is not threatened.

2021-06-09 19:09:54 More than 50,000 tests for coronavirus were done before and during SPIEF-2021. A set of anti-epidemiological measures was developed by the Roscongress Foundation together with Rospotrebnadzor (Russian consumer rights watchdog) and the World Health Organization. As a result, safety standards were set for major international events around the world during the coronavirus period.

These safety measures have already been called unprecedented by experts. The main condition of access to the Forum venue for all participants was a negative PCR test for COVID-19, by which the accreditation badge was activated. In all cases, a full range of anti-epidemiological measures were taken: thermal scopes and hand thermometers at all entrances to the venue, a close control of the masks use, to name just a few.

As for business, the largest delegations were:
Qatar: around 400 participants ;
USA: over 200 participants;

Great Britain: over 110 participants;
France: over 100 participants.

2021-06-09 14:56:38 SPIEF-2021 was the world's first and largest in-person business event after a forced break due to the coronavirus pandemic. As the Forum's organizer, the Roscongress Foundation summarized the final results.

During four days more than 13,500 participants from 141 countries visited the Forum venue; 5,000 of them were representatives of Russian and foreign companies and 1,500 were executives. The Forum welcomed over 1,000 media organizations from 46 countries.

"SPIEF has once again proved its status as a unique global event, the world's largest and most progressive business platform for discussing global and regional economy," – said Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the Russian President.

2021-06-07 20:30:02 Almost 6,400 photographs and 330 reports on the SPIEF main events

These are the results of the TASS Agency work as the official photo hosting agency of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. TASS photo reporters were focused on the key events of the Forum's business, cultural, and sporting programmes.

A team of 17 reporters and 10 photo editors provided real-time coverage of the Forum. They have reviewed over 47 000 images total, the best of which were included in the SPIEF stock photo bank.

Materials of agency reporters are available for viewing and free download at forumspb.tassphoto.com. The photo bank also features images from the Forums of previous years and views of St. Petersburg since 2013.
