Participants of the session "Growth Strategy of the Russian Pharma Industry as a Basis of National Drug Security", will discuss:

how to make drugs of all kinds more affordable;
assortment planning and shortage prevention in pharmaceuticals.

2021-05-19 21:16:58 SPIEF volunteers uniform: Russian ornaments, comfortable cut, bright details

On the one hand, the SPIEF uniform is quite strict: white top, black bottom. But even so designers added color: scarves, ties, and other accessories feature the bright orange ornament, known as khokhloma. Looks both fancy and very Russian-like.

The assistants you see on the pictures will be meeting and seeing off guests at the airport and train station, accommodating them in a hotel, helping with transportation, navigation, etc. The assistants working in Expoforum will be dressed more formally. There is also a sporty kind of uniform, it will be used at side events. Up to 1,000 volunteers will be working in St. Petersburg and Moscow this year.

But of course, masks and gloves are the most important accessories for volunteers. We hope you've already learned that at SPIEF, all the necessary safety measures are followed.

2021-05-19 18:44:43 Russia-Africa session is one of the most interesting international discussions of the forthcoming SPIEF. It is going to be a business dialogue on investment projects between the countries and future business strategies.

And on May 20 (Africa Day), the Conference of the Association of Africa's Russian-speaking journalists and bloggers will be held in TASS news agency. Journalists, politicians, and scientists will discuss information cooperation with African countries. That is, how to exchange news correctly so that everyone in Russia and in Africa would understand things swiftly and without distortion.

A recent meeting in Vladivostok (Russia) focused on the preparation for another major international event, the Eastern Economic Forum.
The main venue, the Far Eastern Federal University, has been damaged by ice rain, so it is now being upgraded. Plus, 24 city hotels are ready to host the participants.

Needless to say that special attention will be paid to anti-COVID measures. Safety efforts take after the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which introduced all the most advanced technological solutions, including an air-cleaning system in the session halls. Everyone's concerned with safety measures, and we can reassure you that the accreditation centers work in full compliance with all the latest requirements. Sanitizers, social distancing, and masks are our best friends.

The whole procedure is as follows: firstly, participants receive their accreditation badges, then they go to a PCR-testing. The test result is automatically sent to the center and the pass is activated. Or blocked if the test is positive. Stay healthy and check out our safety measures!

2021-05-19 10:33:49 Yesterday evening's storm in St. Petersburg was as beautiful as it was frightening: lightning struck the cross of St. Isaac's Cathedral and the Lakhta Center, wind blew down trees, and heavy rain caused flood in several areas. Luckily, only two people were injured during the storm.
