A Devotional for June 8, 2022

Because of the long-standing animosity between the Jews and the Samaritans, both clans did not want to have anything to do with each other. Similarly, in Jonah 1:3, we see Jonah run away from the Lord when he was sent to preach against the wickedness of the people of Nineveh for it has come up before the Lord. And in chapter 4, we see how Jonah became angry and murmured against God, for he thought it was better to die than to see the people of Nineveh change their ways and return to God. Like Jonah and the enmity between Jews and Samaritans, are there people whom we have considered unworthy of God’s mercy and of sharing His message of salvation? Let's stop and ask ourselves: Who are our Samaritans or Nineveh?

But for all of us who live by the principle of life in God's kingdom, the life we are called to live in Christ is completely different from this. This is why we see Samaritans, who are considered unworthy encounter Christ Himself, and His message of salvation. And we see Christ command His Jewish disciples to be His witness first, in their own country (Judea), then to their hostile neighbors (Samaritans), and the ends of the world. This shows us that Christ has broken down every wall of enmity at the cross. Every man's righteousness comes from the love of God we have received through the works of Christ, for no one is righteous before the Lord. And as such, we need to allow the love we have received to compel us to extend mercy and share the Gospel.  

Life Application
For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again. - 2 Corinthians 5: 14-15

Prayer
Lord, help us to love all those whom you have sacrificed yourself for, and by your grace help us to always strive to share the gospel of salvation.

የሰኔ  1/ 2014 ቃል

በአይሁድና በሳምራውያን መካከል ለብዙ ዘመናት በመካከላቸው ከነበረ ስር የሰደደ ጥላቻ የተነሳ  ምንም አይነት ግንኙነት እንዲኖራቸው አይፈልጉም ነበር፡፡ በተመሳሳይም በትንቢተ ዮናስ መፅሐፍ 1: 3 ላይ እንደምንመለከተው ክፋታቸው በእግዚአብሔር ፊት ለወጣው ለነነዌ ህዝብ እንዲሰብክ በተላከ ጊዜ አቅጣጫ ቀይሮ ከእግዚአብሔር ፊት ሲኮበልል እናያለን። በተለይ ደግሞ ዮናስ የፈራውና ያልፈለገው ነገር ማለትም የነነዌ ህዝቦች ልባቸው ተቀይሮ ወደ እግዚአብሔር በተመለሱ ጊዜ ከመኖር መሞት ይሻለኛል እስከማለት ድረስ እንዴት እንዳስቆጣውና በእግዚአብሔርም ላይ እንዳጉረመረመ እንመለከታለን (ዮናስ 4:1-3)፡፡ እኛም እንደ ዮናስ ሆነ በአይሁድና በሳምራውያን መካከል እንደነበረው ጥላቻ የአግዚአብሔርን ምህረት ለእኛ ብቻ እንደሚገባ ወስነን የእርሱን ምህረት ለማድረግም ሆነ የደህንነት መልዕክት ለማካፈል የማይገባቸው ናቸው ብለን የፈረጅናቸው ይኖሩ ይሆን? እስኪ ቆም ብለን እራሳችንን እንጠይቅ፤ የእኛ ሰማርያ ወይም ነነዌ  እነማን ናቸው?  

በእግዚአብሔር መንግስት የህይወት መርህ ለምንኖር ሁሉ ግን በክርስቶስ የተገለጠልን እንድንኖርበት የተጠራንበት ህይወት ፈፅሞ ከዚህ የተለየ ነው፡፡ ለዚህ ነው በወንጌላትና በሀዋርያት መፅሐፍት የማይገባቸው ተብለው የተቆጠሩት ሳምራውያን ከራሱ ከጌታ ጋር እና ከምስራች መልዕክቱ ጋር ሲገናኙ የምንመለከተው። ለምሳሌ አይሁዳዊ ለሆኑት የክርስቶስ ደቀ-መዛሙርት የእርሱ ምስክሮች ይሆኑ ዘንድ ጌታ ያዘዛቸው በራሳቸው ሀገር (በይሁዳ)፣ በጥላቻ ወደ ሚመለከቷቸው ጎረቤቶቻቸው (በሰማሪያ) እንዲሁም እስከ አለም ዳርቻ ደረስ በመሄድ እንደሆነ እንገነዘባለን (ሐዋ 1፡ 8)፡፡ ይሄም የሚያስረዳን ማንኛውንም የጥል ግድግዳ አምላክ ሰው ሆኖ በመስቀል ላይ በሰራው ሥራ ማፍረሱን ነው፡፡ በተጨማሪም ሰው ሁሉ ከፍጥረቱ ኃጢያተኛ ነው፤ በአምላክ ፊትም ምንም ብቁ የሚያደርገው ነገር የለም፤ ከተደረገልን ምህረት እና ከተወደድንበት የክርስቶ ፍቅር በስተቀር፡፡ ስለዚህ ለሰዎች ሁሉ ምህረት ለማድረግ ብሎም የምስራቹን ቃል ለማካፈል እኛ የተወደድንበት ፍቅሩ ግድ ሊለን ይገባል፡፡    

የሕይወት ተዛምዶ
የክርስቶስ ፍቅር ግድ ይለናል፤ ምክንያቱም አንዱ ስለ ሁሉ እንደ ሞተ እርግጠኞች ሆነናል። በሕይወት ያሉትም ለሞተላቸውና ከሙታን ለተነሣላቸው እንጂ ከእንግዲህ ለራሳቸው እንዳይኖሩ እርሱ ስለ ሁሉ ሞተ። (2 ቆሮንቶስ 5፡ 14- 15)

ፀሎት
ጌታ ሆይ በተወደድንበት መወደድ አንተ የሞትክላቸውን ሰዎች ሁሉ እንድንወድ፤ የደህንነትንም ወንጌል ለማካፈል ዘወትር እንድንተጋ በፀጋህ አግዘን፡፡

We will also have special worship workshop for all who registered that will last 4 weeks.

Worship Night: The Worship Team has put together a Worship Night on June 8 starting at 6PM. Let’s us come together to worship.

Beza Women’s Conference: Beza Women’s Conference will be held in Atlanta, Georgia from June 23-26. It is a program where women from all over the world come together to be equipped, to pray and fellowship. If you would like to be part of the conference, please register at Beza.cc.

Amharic service: 8:45 AM - 10:45 AM

Discipleship classes: Discipleship classes will be held every Sunday in our classes here at the Tabernacle on 09:15 AM to 10:45 AM.

Prayer Unusual is a going strong. The prayer movement that started at Beza Church is a program where we come and intercede for the nation and for our personal needs. It is being held at the hall dedicated in the basement of the new building for prayer. We would like to assure you that COVID cautions are being followed.

የወጣቶች ፕሮግራም:- የቤዛ የወጣቶች ፕሮግራም ዕድሜያቸው ከ 15-23 ለሆኑ በየሳምንቱ እሁድ በአዲሱ ሕንጻ ቤዝመንት ከ 2፡45-4፡45 ይካሄዳል።

የደቀመዝሙርነት ትምህርት:- የደቀመዝሙርነት ትምህርት እሁድ በታበርናክል ከጠዋቱ 4፡45 እስከ 5፡45 ሰዓት ይካሄዳል። እሁድ መውሰድ የማይችል ማንም ሰው የደቀመዝሙርነት ትምህርት መውሰድ ከፈለገ በሌሎቹ ቀናት ፕሮግራም ስለምናዘጋጅ የምትፈልጉ እባካችሁ በዚህ ቁጥር "0907700007" አጭር የጽሑፍ መልክት በመላክ ወይም በዚህ የቴሌግራም አድራሻ "@bezaconnect" ይመዝገቡ።
