The content has great teaching on different topics to help you and your family engage in renewing your mind and discipling your family throughout the week. It has topics such as Books of the Bible, Christian Living, Apologetics, Parenting, Mental Health & Recovery and many more. Fasting and Prayer: We will have a 3-day fasting a prayer program from September 6 – 8 where we seek the face of the Lord as a church and receive the new year in that spirit. Mark your calendar and let’s meet here at the Tabernacle from 10 am to 6pm.

New Year’s Eve: We will have our New Year’s Eve service Saturday, September 10, from 8 pm to midnight at the Tabernacle. It will be a joint service. So come ready to celebrate and where we will be giving our year end gift so come with prepared hearts.

New Year’s Day: will also be a joint service on Sunday morning from 10 am to 12 pm. So, don’t come at the regular time, but come at 10 am to worship with us.

Prayer Unusual is a going strong. The prayer movement that started at Beza Church is a program where we come and intercede for the nation and for our personal needs. It is being held at the hall dedicated in the basement of the new building for prayer.

ጾም ፀሎት:- ጳጉሜ 1 – 3 የጌታን ፊት የምንፈልግበት እና አዲሱን አመት በመንፈስ የምንቀበልበት የ3 ቀን የጾም ፀሎት ፕሮግራም ይኖረናል። ቀኑን ያዙት፣ በዚሁ በቤተክርስቲያን ከጠዋቱ 4 ሰዓት እስከ ምሽቱ 12 ሰዓት ድረስ እንገናኝ።

Increase Your Capacity

This week’s message was brought to us by Pastor Anthony Njoroge.

Ephesians 3:20 tells us that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Today’s message is to shake us from any limitations, small thinking and believe our best days are still ahead of us.

Capacity
The Webster dictionary defines the word capacity as the ability to contain or deal with something. In order to experience more, you must be intentional about expanding your capacity. When it comes to human beings, it is about our potential to deliver on a strategy or a goal. Each one of us has a capacity that God has uniquely gifted us with. Matt 25:15 says “And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability.”

Every single capacity can be increased or expanded. We believe that God is yet to do so much more in our lives. Job 42:12 tells us that “the LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning”

What happens when you don’t have capacity?
In 2 Kings 4:1-6, we learn about a woman whose husband died and left her in debt, when she cried out to Prophet Elisha, he asked what she had in her house, to which she replied, a small jar of oil. Elisha asked her to “Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don’t ask for just a few” Once she gathered the jars, the oil kept flowing until there was not a jar left. “Then the oil stopped flowing.”

As long as there was capacity, the oil continued to flow. Some of you are meant to impact nations but are limiting what God can do in you and through you. The small jar filled all those jars, but the oil stops because you don’t have capacity! You need to increase your capacity. (Isaiah 54:2)

What do I need to do to increase my capacity?

1. Have a mentor: A mentor is one who has gone where you need to go and has done what you need to do. When Moses connected himself to Jethro, his leadership capacity multiplied seventy times. Timothy needed Paul, Joshua needed Moses. A mentor shows you there is more. (Proverbs 15:22)

2. Be a good steward: Being faithful qualifies you to receive more. Matthew 25:21 says “whoever is faithful with a little, God added more” How have you been spending your money or your time? Faithfulness multiplies your seed. The Bible tells us that God is no respecter of persons but of principles. (Matthew 25:29)

3. Take risks: God is asking you to step outside of your comfort zone. How will you know if God has anointed you if you don’t face your Goliath? When you step out of the boat, God will take you to places you have never gone! (Mark 9:23)

4. Be a learner: Read books! Go back to school! When you sharpen your axe, you increase your capacity. Some of us need to expand our minds in order to grow.

5. Generosity: The closer you grow to God, you realize what you have is not even yours, you are but a steward. As your intimacy with God increases, your wallet should follow suit. Luke 6:38 says “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” It is only in God’s kingdom that you give in order to receive more.

አቅማችሁን አሳድጉ

የዚህን ሳምንት መልእክት ያመጡልን ፓስተር አንቶኒ ጆሮጌ ናቸው።

ኤፌሶን 3፡20 ላይ እግዚአብሔር ከምንለምነው ወይም ከምናስበው ሁሉ በላይ እጅግ አብልጦ ማድረግ እንደሚችል ይነግረናል። የዛሬው መልእክት ከማንኛውም ውሱንነቶች፣ ከትንሽ አስተሳሰቦች እንድንነቀነቅና የተሻሉና የበለጡ ቀኖቻችን አሁንም ከፊታችን እንደሆኑ ማመን ነው።

አቅም
የዌብስተር መዝገበ ቃላት አቅም የሚለውን ቃል ‘አንድን ነገር የመያዝ ወይም የማስተናገድ ችሎታ’ አድርጎ ይገልፀዋል። የበለጠ ለመለማመድ፣ አቅማችሁን ሆነ ብላችሁ ማስፋት አለባችሁ። ወደ ሰው ልጅ ስንመጣ ነገራችን ሁሉ ስትራቴጂያችንን ወይም ግባችንን  እውን የማድረግ አለማድረጋችን ጉዳይ ነው። እግዚአብሔር ለእያንዳንዳችን  በልዩ ሁኔታ የሰጠን አቅም አለን። ማቴ 25፡ 15 “ ለእያንዳንዱ እንደችሎታው በመደልደል ለአንዱ አምስት ታለንት፤ ለአንዱ ሁለት፤ ለአንዱም አንድ  ታለንት ጉዞውን ቀጠለ" ይላል።

እያንዳንዱ አቅም ሊጨምር ወይም ሊሰፋ ይችላል። እግዚአብሔር ገና በሕይወታችን  ብዙ እንደሚሠራ እናምናለን። (ኢዮብ 42፡12) “እግዚአብሔርም ከፊተኛው ይልቅ የኋለኛውን የኢዮብን ሕይወት  ባረከ” ይለናል።

አቅም ከሌለህ ምን ይሆናል?
በ2ኛ ነገ 4፡1- 6 ባሏ ሞቶ በዕዳ ትቷት ስለነበረች አንዲት ሴት ወደ ነቢዩ ኤልሳዕ ጮኸች። በቤቷ ያለውን ነገር ጠየቃት፤ እርሷም ጥቂት ዘይት በአንዲት ማድጋ ውስጥ እንዳላት በመንገር መለሰችለት። ኤልሳዕም እንዲህ በማለት ጠየቃት፡- “እንግዲያው ሂጂና ከጎረቤቶችሽ ሁሉ ባዶ ጥቂት ሳይሆን ብዙ ማድጋ እንዲሰጡሽ ጠይቂያቸው” አላት። እሷም ማድጋዎችን ከሰበሰበችንና አንድም ማድጋ እስከማይቀር ድረስ ዘይቱን ከሞላች በኋላ ዘይቱ መፍሰስ አቆመ"ይላል።

አቅም እስካለ ድረስ ዘይቱ መፍሰሱን ይቀጥላል። አንዳንዶቻችሁ ተፅዕኗችሁ በአገር ደረጃ ነው፤ ነገር ግን እግዚአብሔር በእናንተ እና በእናንተ በኩል ሊያደርግ የሚችለውን እየገደባችሁ ነው። እነዚያ ማድጋዎች ሞሉ። በመጨረሻም  ዘይቱ መፍሰስ አቆመ። ምክንያቱም ከዚያ በላይ አቅም አልነበራችሁም። ስለዚህ አቅምህን ማሳደግ አለብህ። (ኢሳይያስ 54: 2)

አቅሜን የበለጠ ለመጨመር ምን ማድረግ አለብኝ?

1. አማካሪ ይኑርህ፡- መካሪ ማለት መሄድ ወደምትፈልግበት ስፍራ ሄዶ ማድረግ የሚገባህን ያደረገ ነው። ሙሴ ራሱን ከዮቶር ጋር ሲያገናኝ የመሪነት አቅሙ ሰባ እጥፍ ጨምሯል። ጢሞቴዎስ ጳውሎስን፣ ኢያሱም ሙሴን ፈለገ። አንድ አማካሪ የበለጠ እንዳለ ያሳያችኋል። (ምሳሌ 15: 22)

2. ጥሩ ባላደራ ሁን፡- ታማኝ መሆን ብዙ ለመቀበል ብቁ ያደርገዋል። ማቴዎስ 25፡21 ላይ “በትንሽ ነገር ላይ ታማኝ ስለ ሆንህ በብዙ ነገር ላይ እሾምሃለሁ” ይላል። ገንዘባችሁን ወይም ጊዜያችሁን እንዴት እያጠፋችሁ ነው? ታማኝነት ዘርህን ያበዛል። እግዚአብሔር አምላክ የሰውን ፊት አይቶ እንደማያደላ፤ ነገር ግን መርሆዎችን እንደሚመለከት መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ይነግረናል። (ማቴዎስ 25: 29)

3. ደፍረህ ውጣ፡- እግዚአብሔር ከምቾት ቀጠናህ እንድትወጣ እየጠየቀህ ነው። ጎልያድህን ካልተጋፈጥክ እግዚአብሔር እንደቀባህ እንዴት ታውቃለህ? ከጀልባው ስትወጣ እግዚአብሔር ወደማታውቀው ቦታ ይወስድሃል! (ማርቆስ 9: 23)

4. ተማሪ ሁን፡- መፅሐፍትን አንብብ! ትምህርት ቤት ገብተህ ተማር! መጥረቢያህን ስትስል አቅምህን ትጨምራለህ። አንዳንዶቻችን ለማደግ አእምሯችንን ማስፋት አለብን።

5. ልግስና፡- ወደ እግዚአብሔር ባደግክ መጠን ያለህ ነገር ያንተ እንዳልሆነ፤ ነገር ግን ባለአደራ እንደሆንክ ትገነዘባለህ። ከእግዚአብሔር ጋር ያለህ ሕብረት እየጨመረ ሲሄድ የኪስ ቦርሳችን እንዲሁ መከተል አለበት። ሉቃስ 6፡ 38 ላይ “ስጡ፤ ይሰጣችኋል፤ በምትሰፍሩበት መስፈሪያ ተመልሶ ስለሚሰፈርላችሁ፣ ጫን በተደረገ፣ በተነቀነቀና በተትረፈረፈ መልካም መስፈሪያ ተሰፍሮ በዕቅፋችሁ ይሰጣችኋል። ” የበለጠ ለመቀበል የምትሰጠው በእግዚአብሔር መንግሥት ውስጥ ብቻ ነው።
