@G3News: Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said on Monday the U.S. economic embargo of Cuba should be ended to help its people, after the biggest anti-government protests in decades broke out on the island fueled by anger over shortages in basic goods.

"The truth is that if one wanted to help Cuba, the first thing that should be done is to suspend the blockade of Cuba as the majority of countries in the world are asking," Lopez Obrador told a news conference.

2021-07-12 19:42:11 Aaron Maté: Why is OPCW Chief Arias Afraid of His Own Inspectors?

@G3News: Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) leader Fernando Arias has refused to address the manipulation of the OPCW's probe into an alleged chemical attack in the Syrian town of Douma.

A trove of leaks soon exposed a deception both in Douma and then at OPCW headquarters. OPCW inspectors who deployed to Syria had, in fact, found no evidence of a chemical attack. If published, their findings would have undermined the stated pretext for the Western airstrikes, and bolstered suspicions that sectarian insurgents had staged the incident to frame the Syrian government. But senior OPCW officials doctored the team's original report, sidelined its members, and kept its critical findings from the public. US officials were also allowed to visit The Hague and try to influence the probe in their favor.

Rather than investigate the subterfuge, the OPCW leadership—with the backing of the US and other NATO governments—has waged a public campaign against two veteran OPCW scientists who challenged the scandal from within.

@G3News: Six people have been killed and 219 arrested amid escalating violence during rioting that broke out following the imprisonment of South Africa’s former President Jacob Zuma, police said Monday.

Army soldiers will be deployed to help police quell the violence, the South African National Defense Force said.

Police said shops and businesses have been looted and vandalized. Traffic has been disrupted by rioters barricading major roads with burning tires and trucks, while cars have been attacked.

@G3News: White House officials sent a memo to state and local officials on Monday urging them to use funds from President Biden’s $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package to reduce crime and combat gun violence at a time when U.S. cities are seeing a spike in violent crime.

The memo outlines how states and cities can take advantage of funds allocated through the rescue plan to support law enforcement, invest in community-based violence interventions, enforce gun laws and assist those who have been incarcerated to reenter their communities. It builds on a strategy that Biden outlined last month.

“The core of the President’s plan is a partnership with cities and states, equipping local leaders with historic levels of federal funding and a range of tools to address the multifaceted challenge of gun violence,” the July 12 memo written by senior White House officials Susan Rice, Gene Sperling and Julie Rodriguez states.

2021-07-12 16:25:00 As Afghanistan Pullout Nears, U.S. Emphasizes Plans to Keep War Going

@G3News: The US was supposed to be out of Afghanistan in May, and by the end of August they’ll finally make good on that pledge, more or less. Officials are quick to argue that the US will retain military capabilities in Afghanistan going forward.

This has a political dimension. President Trump made the initial peace deal to withdraw from Afghanistan, but now Rep. Adam Kinzinger, an opponent of ending the war, is arguing that the withdrawal is tantamount to a “crushing defeat” in the war.

Instead of defending the peace plan, the Biden Administration is arguing that the war is effectively ongoing, openly talking about heavy airstrike campaigns against the Taliban well beyond the pullout.

@COVID19Up: Israel's health minister announced on Sunday that adults with compromised immune systems who had already received two doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine could now receive a booster shot.

Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz said the decision was effective immediately.

On Thursday, Pfizer and BioTech said they were planning to seek emergency authorization from the U.S. FDA for a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Do You Believe They Will Back Down?

Friends,

This is an important week. No, it's not important because of the CyberPolygon exercise that took place today, and no it's not because the Predator class is talking about mandatory vaccinations again. While those issues are absolutely important, what I want to talk to you about today is connecting to your inner child.

To those in the audience who are asking, "What the heck is this woowoo inner child stuff?" - keep reading.

What I am speaking about is the importance of reconnecting and remembering the trauma you may have experienced in your younger years. Each of us carry around doubts, fears, and insecurities that we picked up along our path, often as a result of situations we experience as children. These imprints can be positive or they can be painful wounds.

The point is that until we take the time to understand the source of our traumas we will not grow from them. Rather than seeking to hide from our pain, or medicate with drugs, alcohol, sex, or social media, we ought to work towards our own healing.

Of course, healing is a process and takes dedication. You have to decide that putting yourself through uncomfortable moments is worth the potential to heal and grow from your pain. I believe that once we start working on our childhood wounds the better equipped we are to face anything that comes our way, including cyberhacks, COVID1984, mandatory vaccinations, and the Technocratic State.

2021-07-09 23:33:05 New CDC Guidance on Schools: Unvaccinated Students and Staff Need to Continue Wearing Masks

@COVID19Up: Students who are vaccinated don’t have to wear masks in school this fall unless they are riding the bus or their school decides otherwise, according to new guidance released Friday by the CDC.

The new federal guidelines aren’t mandatory but are expected to influence school officials, local health departments and governors who are in the midst of preparing for students to return to the classroom full time this fall.

The CDC recommendations specifically call for unvaccinated students and staff to continue mask-wearing and encourages schools to offer voluntary routine testing at least once a week. It also encourages 3-feet of distancing among unvaccinated kids in the classroom.
