2021-09-29 03:17:11 Dreams are not a replacement of Shareeah (Islaamic Legislation), and Shareeah is not interpreted based on dreams.

Anything a person sees in his dream which goes against the Shareeah is not to be acted upon.

Shareeah is what is legislated in the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of His Prophet ﷺ.

2021-09-28 14:41:45 Do not belittle the optional deeds!

Optional deeds are a means of attaining Allaah's Love!

If you have abandoned the optional Fasting because of your desires...

And postponed the night prayers because of your tiredness...

And left the optional prayers because of your busyness...

And did not give Sadaqah (optional charity) because of your greediness...

And deserted the Qur'aan because of your preoccupation...

And delayed seeking forgiveness because of your negligence...

Then which path are you traversing to attain the Jannah

The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said: “Verily Allaah (تعالى) has said: {Whosoever shows enmity to a wali (pious servant) of Mine, then I have declared war against him. And My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more loved to Me than the religious duties I have obligated upon him. And My servant continues to draw near to me with Nawaafil (supererogatory) deeds until I Love him. When I Love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, and his sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him; and were he to seek refuge with Me, I would surely grant him refuge.}”

2021-09-27 21:03:48 Your speech is being written…

And your words are being counted…

And you are being pursued (by death)…

And you have sins for which you have not repented…

And the sun of life is about to set…

While your heart has turned hard and still hanging to the rope of this world!!!

2021-09-27 10:26:19 When trials get tough, people fall into depression, anxiety, and other mental illnesses. Depression, anxiety, worry, grief, etc. all have a tremendous impact on a person’s life, social behavior, performance, quality of life, and health, etc. In other religions, they have no remedy to cope with the situation in the face of difficulties. Other religions simply do not offer any solution. So, when people feel empty and directionless, some opt for consuming alcohol or other intoxicants to cope with this, and some live a life of drugs and illegal sex to look for a way out, and some just end up committing suicide when they feel the pain and suffering is unbearable. All this does nothing but harms a person in this world and the Hereafter. Depression, anxiety, and other mental illnesses are some of the tools of Shaitaan, as Allaah تعالى said:

إِنَّمَا النَّجْوَىٰ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ لِيَحْزُنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَيْسَ بِضَارِّهِمْ شَيْئًا إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ

{Secret counsels (conspiracies) are only from Shaitaan, so that he may cause grief to the Believers. But he cannot harm them in the least, except as Allaah permits, and in Allaah let the Believers put their trust.}

Since Shaitaan is our enemy, so the cure has to be Divine. In Islaam, when faced with difficulties, we are taught to seek Allaah’s help through patience and prayers:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ

{O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allaah is with those who are patient.}

{Those who have believed and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allaah. Verily, in the remembrance of Allaah do hearts find rest.}

The obligatory and optional Salaah, Dhikr (remembrance of Allaah), Duaa, Tawakkal (reliance on Allaah), Trusting Him are the way out for the believers when faced with difficulties, calamities, and adversities.

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught many Divine supplications to cope with the situation when the affairs get difficult. He ﷺ was given the gift of Jawaami al-Kalim (expressing much in a few words), as the Prophet ﷺ said: ❝I have been given Jawaami` al-Kalim (i.e., words which are concise but comprehensive in meaning).❞ The book deals with explaining some of these supplications to help one understand their meaning and what they imply, which, by Allaah’s permission, will give them strength in the face of difficulties.

May Allaah ease our burden, forgive our sins, give us patience during the times of trials and guide us out of the misery we suffer.

2021-09-26 21:06:45 Allaah تعالى said:

{Indeed, We know that your breast is straitened at what they (the Kuffaar) say. So Glorify the Praises of your Lord and be of those who prostrate themselves (to Him). And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty (i.e. death).}

[Surah al-Hijr (15): 97-99]

Shaikh Muhammad al-Ameen al-Shinqeetee رحمه اللهsaid:

❝Know that the sequence which Allaah جل وعلا mentioned, i.e. the command to the Prophet ﷺ to Glorify Allaah (by saying: Sub-haan Allaah!) and to make Sujood (i.e. to offer Salaah) when the breast feels straitened due to the bad things which the Kuffaar are saying, is evidence that Salaah and Glorification of Allaah are a means to remove the undesirable (harmful) things.❞

2021-09-26 20:52:43 From the most unusual matters which is a sign that the hearts are dead is that one may find a person wearing a watch worth hundreds of thousands of Riyals, and he displays it to others proudly, yet he doesn't give importance to time!

2021-09-25 23:40:25 “The stage in-between the two stages”, between the Mutazilah and the Modernists:

بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

The Mutazilah (the deviated sect) came with the concept of “a stage in-between two stages”; saying that a person who does a major sin (like adultery, gambling, drinking intoxicants) is neither a Muslim nor a Kaafir, he is in-between the stage of being a Muslim and a Kaafir; and he will abide in the Hellfire forever.

Similarly, the likes of Hamza Yusuf and Nouman Ali Khan have adopted and preaching the same concept, and applied it on the Jews and the Christians, saying they are neither Believers nor Kaafir, they are in-between (i.e. they should only be referred as “the people of the Book” and should not be called as Kaafir).

Firstly:
Their act of Kufr is mentioned throughout the Qur’aan and they being Kaafir is clearly mentioned in Surah al-Maaidah (5): 72 and 73, as well as the whole of Surah al-Bayyinah (98).

{Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allaah is the Messiah”}
[Surah al-Maaidah (5): 72]

{Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allaah is the third of the three”}
[Surah al-Maaidah (5): 73]

{Those who disbelieve from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and among Al-Mushrikoon, were not going to leave (their disbelief) until there came to them clear evidence.}
[Surah al-Bayyinah (98): 1]

{Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Quran and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikun will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures.}
[Surah al-Bayyinah (98): 6]

So there is no room for discussion here in the first place. The one who opposes or rejects the Qur’aan is himself in danger of falling into Kufr.

Secondly:

a. Can we offer the funeral prayer for them? NO!

b. Can we seek Allaah’s forgiveness for them? NO!

c. Can they be buried in the Muslim graveyard? NO!

d. Can a Muslim inherit from them? NO!

e. Can they inherit from the Muslim? NO!

f. Can they enter Makkah or Madeenah? NO!

g. Will they enter Paradise if they die upon this Kufr? NO!

When the answer is NO, then why the need to differentiate between them and the Kuffaar? All of them attribute partners to Allaah. All of them attribute children to Allaah.

[The only difference between the Ahl al-Kitaab and the Mushriks is that Allaah تعالى allowed the Muslims to eat their meat and allowed the Muslim men to marry their women.]

The Prophet ﷺ said: “By Him in Whose hand is the life of Muhammad, he who amongst the community of Jews or Christians hears about me, but does not affirm his belief in that with which I have been sent and dies in this state (of disbelief), he shall be but one of the denizens of Hell-Fire.”

❝WE praise Him❞

B ) Importance of Praising Allaah تعالى for His blessings and using them in His obedience:

Umar Ibn Abdul Azeez رحمه الله was asked by one of his deputies, who wrote to him mentioning in his letter: “O Ameer al-Mu’mineen! I am in a land in which the blessings ae in abundance, to this extent that I fear that its people will not be able to Thank (Allaah the way He should be thanked). So Umar Ibn Abdul Azeez wrote back to him saying: ❝I used to think that you were (one of those who were) well versed in (the Book of) Allaah. Verily! Allaah تعالى does not bestows His blessing upon His servant and he praises Allaah (by saying الحمد لله) except that his (ability to) praise Allaah تعالى is better than the blessing which he received. If you did not know about this (then read) the Book of Allaah which He تعالى revealed. Allaah تعالى said:

{And indeed We gave knowledge to Dawood and Sulaimaan, and they both said: “All the praises and thanks be to Allaah, Who has preferred us above many of His believing slaves!”}

And which blessing is better than what was given to Dawood and Sulaimaan

And Allaah تعالى said:

{And those who kept their duty to their Lord will be led to Paradise in groups, till, when they reach it…} till the saying of Allaah تعالى: {and it will be said. All the praises and thanks be to Allaah…}

And which blessing is better than entering the Jannah?!❞

Kab (Ibn Maalik) رضي الله عنه said: ❝No servant is blessed by Allaah with a blessing in this world and he thanks Allaah for it and humbles himself with it for Allaah (i.e. makes use of it in Allaah’s obedience), except that Allaah تعالى will make him benefit from that blessing in this world and through it will raise his status in the Jannah. And no servant is blessed with a blessing in this world, and he does not thank Allaah for it nor humbles himself (i.e., disobeys Allaah with it) except that Allaah will deprive him from benefiting from that blessing in this world and will open for him (the door) of the Hellfire. If He تعالى wishes, He will punish him or He تعالى will overlook his (misdeeds).❞

Sufyaan bin Uyainah رحمه الله said to Abu Abdullaah al-Raazee: ❝O Abu Abdullaah! One of the ways a person thanks Allaah for His blessings is by Praising Him for it and using it (the blessings) in His obedience. It is not from thanking Allaah that a person uses these blessings in Allaah’s disobedience.❞

❝And WE seek refuge with Allaah from the evils of our souls❞

b) The three states of “al-Nafs”:

Shaikh al-Islaam, Ibn Taymiyyah, رحمه الله said: ❝The “Nafs” are of three types:

1) Al-Nafs al-Ammaarah bi al-Soo’ (the self which dictates evil):

﴿إِنَّ النَّفْسَ لَأَمَّارَةٌ بِالسُّوءِ إِلَّا مَا رَحِمَ رَبِّي﴾

{Verily, the (human) self is inclined to evil, except when my Lord bestows His Mercy (upon whom He wills)}

It is the Nafs, which overpowers one to follow its desires by committing sins and acts of disobedience.

2) Al-Nafs al-Lawwaamah (struggling moral self or self-reproaching soul):

﴿وَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالنَّفْسِ اللَّوَّامَةِ﴾

{And I swear by the self-reproaching Nafs}

It is the Nafs, which falls into sins and repents (to Allaah). Through it, one commits sins and does good deeds, but when it commits sins, it repents and turns back (to Allaah for forgiveness). It is called as “al-Lawwaamah” because it reproaches own self for committing sins, and it is also called as such because it lingers between good and evil and it does not stay in one state, it keeps swaying between this and that.

Shaikh al-Islaam, Ibn Taymiyyah, رحمه الله said: ❝This Aayah refers to the Nafs (self) of the human being. And it was said that the human self can be self-reproaching, or it may not be self-reproaching – but this is not the case. Rather, every human self will be self-reproaching, for there is no human being except that it will regret and be remorseful – either in this world or in the Hereafter (i.e., a righteous person will regret why he did not do more good deeds, and a wicked person will regret why he did evil deeds).❞

3) Al-Nafs al-Mutma-innah (satisfied or composed self):

﴿يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ * ارْجِعِي إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَّرْضِيَّةً * فَادْخُلِي فِي عِبَادِي * وَادْخُلِي جَنَّتِي﴾

{[To the righteous it will be said]: “O reassured soul! Come back to your Lord, Well-pleased (yourself) and well-pleasing unto Him! Enter you, then, among My honored slaves, and enter you My Paradise!”}

Shaikh al-Islaam, Ibn Taymiyyah, رحمه الله said: ❝It is the Nafs, which loves to do good deeds and acts of obedience, and wants (to do more), and it hates evil deeds and acts of disobedience, and abhors doing it. All this becomes part of its inborn pattern of behavior, natural habit, and instinct.

So these (three) are the states and descriptions of the same being, otherwise, every person has only one self (but in a different state), and this is a matter which a person can feel within himself.❞

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said: ❝Al-Nafs (self) sometimes can be the one which dictates evil (Ammaarah), and sometimes self-reproaching (Lawwaamah), and sometimes satisfied or composed (Mutma-innah). Rather, in one day or in one hour it can be in this state and that state.❞
