What if the reward for our worship, and our posts on Facebook, Instagram, Tweeter or other social media are given to us in the form of "likes", "fame", "fan following", "wealth" etc. and then when we reach the Hereafter, there is nothing for us for which we could claim the reward

Let these three narrations sink in:

Narration #1
Narrated Ibraheem: Once a meal was brought to Abdur-Rahmaan bin Auf and he was fasting. He (Abdul Rahmaan) said: "Musab bin Umair was martyred and he was better than I, and he was shrouded in his Burd and when his head was covered with it, his legs got uncovered, and when his legs were covered his head got uncovered. Hamza was martyred and he was better than I. Now the worldly wealth have been bestowed upon us. No doubt, I fear that the rewards of my deeds might have been given earlier in this world." Then he started weeping and left his food.

Narration #2
Narrated Khabbab: "We migrated with Allaah's Messenger ﷺ seeking Allaah's Countenance, so our rewards became due and sure with Allaah. Some of us passed away without eating anything of their rewards in this world. One of these was Musab bin Umair who was martyred on the day of the battle of Uhud. We did not find anything to shroud his body with except a striped cloak. When we covered his head with it, his feet remained uncovered, and when we covered his feet with it, his head remained uncovered. So Allaah's Messenger ﷺ ordered us to cover his head with it and put some Idhkhir (i.e. a kind of grass) over his feet. And there are some amongst us whose fruits have ripened and they are collecting them (i.e. they have received their rewards in this world)."

Narration #3
The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said: “The first man, (whose case) will be decided on the Day of Judgment, will be a man who died as a martyr. He shall be brought (before the Judgment Seat). Allaah will make him recount His blessings (i.e. the blessings which He had bestowed upon him) and he will recount them (and admit having enjoyed them in his life). (Then) will Allaah say: What did you do (to requite these blessings)? He will say: I fought for You until I died as a martyr. Allaah will say: You have told a lie. You fought so that you might be called a "brave warrior". And you were called so. (Then) orders will be passed against him and he will be dragged with his face downward and cast into Hell. Then there will be brought forward a man who acquired knowledge and imparted it (to others) and recited the Qur’aan. He will be brought, Allaah will make him recount His blessings and he will recount them (and admit having enjoyed them in his lifetime). Then will Allaah ask: What did you do (to requite these blessings)? He will say: I acquired knowledge and disseminated it and recited the Qur’aan, seeking Your pleasure. Allaah will say: You have told a lie. You acquired knowledge so that you might be called "a scholar", and you recited the Qur’aan so that it might be said: “He is a Qaaree” and such has been said. Then orders will be passed against him and he shall be dragged with his face downward and cast into the Fire. Then will be brought a man whom Allaah had made abundantly rich and had granted every kind of wealth. He will be brought, Allaah will make him recount His blessings and he will recount them and (admit having enjoyed them in his lifetime). Allaah will (then) ask: What have you done (to requite these blessings)? He will say: I spent money in every cause in which You wished that it should be spent. Allaah will say: You are lying. You did (so) that it might be said about (you): "He is a generous fellow", and so it was said. Then will Allaah pass orders and he will be dragged with his face downward and thrown into Hell.”

2021-01-31 23:15:24 Allaah سبحانه وتعالى said:

وَمَا يَعْلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَ
{And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him}
[Surah al-Muddaththir (74): 31]

And He تعالى also said:

وَخُلِقَ الْإِنسَانُ ضَعِيفًا
{and mankind was created weak}
[Surah al-Nisaa (4):28]



Wherever and whenever a person or a community or a nation disobeys Allaah, either by doing that which Allaah has prohibited or by consuming that which Allaah has made Haraam, and it becomes a way of life for them, then Allaah sends his punishment upon them which cleanses the earth of them.

When righteous people are replaced by corrupt people in higher positions, then fear the punishment.

Allaah تعالى said:

وَإِذَا أَرَدْنَا أَن نُّهْلِكَ قَرْيَةً أَمَرْنَا مُتْرَفِيهَا فَفَسَقُوا فِيهَا فَحَقَّ عَلَيْهَا الْقَوْلُ فَدَمَّرْنَاهَا تَدْمِيرًا

{And when We decide to destroy a town (population), We (first) send a definite order (to obey Allah and be righteous) to those among them [or We (first) increase in number those of its population] who are given the good things of this life. Then, they transgress therein, and thus the word (of torment) is justified against it (them). Then We destroy it with complete destruction.}
[Surah al-Israa (17):16]

Narrated Zainab bint Jahsh: The Prophet ﷺ got up from his sleep with a flushed red face and said: "None has the right to be worshiped but Allaah. Woe to the Arabs, from the Great evil that is nearly approaching them. Today a gap has been made in the wall of Gog and Magog like this." making a circle with his thumb and index finger. Zainab bint Jahsh said: "Shall we be destroyed though there are righteous people among us?" The Prophet ﷺ said: "Yes, when evil increases."

A small organism (virus), a creation from the creations of Allaah, not visible to the naked eye, has brought a nation to a standstill by Allaah's permission. The streets - which were always overcrowded and where the traffic never stopped - have become empty. The flights have been canceled. Trade has been suspended. Borders have been closed. Hundreds have died and thousands more are infected. It's fear is everywhere. It's been declared pandemic.

Be it in the form of #Coronavirus in China, or #Influenza in the US, or #MERS in the Middle East, a virus had to remind us that indeed humans, with all their technological advancements, are still weak.

If only the people feared the Creator instead of the creation! Open / Comment

2021-01-27 00:10:58 When intellect (or personal opinion) is given preference and precedence over Sharee Text

﴿ ﻗَﺎﻝَ ﺳَﺂﻭِﻱ ﺇِﻟَﻰٰ ﺟَﺒَﻞٍ ﻳَﻌْﺼِﻤُﻨِﻲ ﻣِﻦَ ﺍﻟْﻤَﺎﺀِ﴾

{(The son) replied: "I will betake myself to a mountain, it will save me from the water."}
This is using one's intellect

﴿ﻗَﺎﻝَ ﻟَﺎﻋَﺎﺻِﻢَ ﺍﻟْﻴَﻮْﻡَ ﻣِﻦْ ﺃَﻣْﺮِ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﺇِﻟَّﺎﻣَن ﺭَّﺣِﻢَ﴾

{(Noah) said: "This day there is no saviour from the Decree of Allaah except him on whom He has mercy."}
This is Revelation

﴿ﻭَﺣَﺎﻝَ ﺑَﻴْﻨَﻬُﻤَﺎ ﺍﻟْﻤَﻮْﺝُ ﻓَﻜَﺎﻥَ ﻣِﻦَ ﺍﻟْﻤُﻐْﺮَﻗِﻴﻦَ﴾

{And a wave came in between them, so he (the son) was among the drowned.}
This is the end result

[Surah Hood (11):43]



Anyone who gives preference to his intellect over the Textual evidences from the Qur’aan and the Sunnah will drown in the darknesses of desires and Bidah

Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said:
❝Whoever gets in the habit of opposing the Text with his intellect, Imaan will not remain in his heart for long.❞
